John Cinque, a Navy veteran who told Connecticut lawmakers last year he would not comply with the state's new gun control law, told Connecticut gubernatorial candidate Joe Visconti that a Branford police officer said he couldn't "wait to get the order to kick your door in," Freedom Outpost reported Saturday, citing a YouTube video posted Friday.

"I live in Branford, and his words straight out were 'I cannot wait to get the order to kick your door in,'" he told Visconti.

Freedom Outpost's Tim Brown said Cinque provided the name of the officer in the incident, and posted a screenshot of the comment he said was made on Facebook.

The officer, identified as Joseph Peterson, reportedly said: "I give my left nut to bang down your door and come for your gun."

They dragged him with a sled? Hell, fire, boy, a good drubbin' and dragging him without a sled would have been much more effective.

Spray them down with gasoline—one of the few ways to stop a massive assault by the jackboots.

I have a purely theoretical academic question: Will a .308 penetrate that combat gear those storm troopers are wearing?

“One of the reasons cops feel empowered to abuse the citizenry is that they are able to hide, invisibly, until such time as they can gather in overwhelming force.”

It is why the cowards wear balaclavas instead of showing their faces.

Then they move their families into armed compounds. After that the cops start treating all non cops as enemy combatants.

This has played out before. Look at the Balkans for one, Ireland another. No one wins in this game.

I noticed the dog hanging out the window in the photo...

If he is a canine cop, I feel sorry for the dog. Most guys like him are abusive handlers/trainers. You can spot them a mile away...

Do you see masked cops attacking random non cops at will? Do you see armed compounds where only cops and other politicals can live?

We are quite there yet.

Not if they have the ceramic trauma plates. I'm not sure how a .338 lapua or 300 win mag would do, particularly handloads with tungsten carbide cores

“One of the reasons cops feel empowered to abuse the citizenry is that they are able to hide, invisibly, until such time as they can gather in overwhelming force.”

The other and much more compelling reason is that THEY ALMOST NEVER FACE ANY SIGNIFICANT PERSONAL CONSEQUENCES FOR THEIR ACTIONS. Are they tried and convicted of murder or at the least manslaughter when they wrongfully kill someone?Answer: Almost never.

I know of only two instances in the last six years where cops were convicted of criminal charges in wrongful deaths. The New Orleans Danziger bridge incident and the Atlanta kathryn johnson incident. In both cases the police were not convicted of murder, but things like violation of oath of office which carries a mych lesser sentence.

There is documentation posted, it is true. Also the cop has been suspended pending an IA investigation.
