Check out Google maps for Iquigue, Chile. Satellite view. Looks vulnerable to a tsunami to me.

As these quakes keep “popping up” along the pacific rim’s ring of fire it was only a matter of time that one of them would be a monster.
8 points is really huge

If the Yellowstone Caldera blows, we’re not that far away. If it does, it’s been nice knowing all you FReepers.
It ususally erupts every 60,000 years. It has now been 64,000 years.

I was told that by my Valley farmer friends! My two labs slept on a moving cement patio during Coalinga in 86! They had been swimming for a while but I gotta say..they were cute but dumb.
Loved em to pieces!

The last three Yellowstone eruptions have been roughly 600,000 years apart - not 60,000.
If it erupts in the next year, it won’t be early; if it erupts 10,000 years from now, it won’t be late.
