I lost count of the number of straw men President Obama burned during his absurdly premature ObamaCare victory lap on Tuesday afternoon — because Republicans literally don’t want people to have health insurance or something, dont’cha’ know — but as Axelrod even admits in this segment, the real debate over whether ObamaCare is really going to “change the attitude that government can’t do anything” has hardly even begun. Yes, the (currently dressed-up) 7 million enrollment figure (which the administration first said was their goal, then walked back, then put forward again) might mean that ObamaCare will be insanely tough to ever really undo, but the country is only just barely embarking on discovering the glories of a government-dominated healthcare market and the costs and limitations that will come with it:

Well, I think there was also an element of relief. … I’m sure it was an exhilarating thing to see the demand for this insurance and the way it all came together at the end. I think that what’s clear is that the people who hoisted the “mission, demolished” banners were a little bit premature in their doomsday forecast. So, I think it will help change the attitude that government can’t do anything, that the system can’t work, and that will be positive. There’s still a long way to go in the public debate. I do believe that this is not going to be repealed, I don’t even think, Steve, the Republicans believe it’s going to be repealed, it’s too rooted now…
That hasn’t worked out very well thus far. Is he thinking that Obama will accomplish this in the short time remaining? ... LOL...

One thing is certain, though—government CANNOT be involved in our health care and we retain a working system.

They’re insane. And as for attitude, govt can do lots of things. But the federal govt is already doing many more things than it’s supposed to And a lot of the things govt tries to do, it screws up. We need look no further than obamacare. ( friend has nine doctors, including some specialists he needs for only occasional help, and none say they will accept any obamacare patients ). I guess the Obamacare death panels are necessary to hide its absence of life-saving treatment expertise.
He sure does lie well. He can almost pull it off to the point where you think he might believe what he’s saying.
You are right, the government cannot do anything right and the Obama care disaster proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Axelrod, wake-up a try to get over being stupid.
The government does everything wrong. Starting with their mismanagement of our resources in Vietnam, teh Great Society, SS, to NobamaCare name one program they started that is actually beneficial and under/on budget?

Everytime harsh reality intrudes to the point it is unbearable, up pops Axelrod to offer an off the wall remark to reinforce the wavering troops. It’s always a good sign that the Left is losing BIG TIME when Axelrod has to weigh in with an improbably goofy assertion.
