Shannon Watts, the public relations executive that founded and runs Moms Demand Action as a campaign of Michael Bloombergs Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), has long been known as a fact-deprived gun prohibitionist. Sadly, the tragic shootings at Fort Hood this week, committed by a soldier angry that he was told to come back the next day for paperwork to go on leave, shows that she is viciously deceptive hater of military veterans as well.

MDA=mother dumb asses
LOL! I always thought the MDA was the thing Jerry Lewis did.
They will feel that way until ironically the day arrives where they need protection by men with guns
They are already getting protection from men with guns.
“MDA (3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine), also known as tenamphetamine (INN), or with the street name “Molly”, “Sass”, or “Sass-a-frass”, is a psychedelic and entactogenic drug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine chemical classes. It is mainly used as a recreational drug, an entheogen, and a tool in use to supplement various types of practices for transcendence, including in meditation, psychonautics, and as an agent in psychedelic psychotherapy. It was first synthesized by G. Mannish and W. Jacobson in 1910. There are about 20 different synthetic routes described in the literature for its preparation.”
Who isn’t against ‘illegal guns’? The problem is they want to make them all illegal. The name of the group is disingenuous.
****..angry that he was told to come back the next day for paperwork to go on leave,***
“Come back tomorrow” was often used by lazy admin people to get us out of their hair.
Years ago, when I and a dozen others, were mustered out of the USAF, we signed out of the barracks, civilian clothes on our backs, luggage packed, turned in our food ration cards, paperwork in hand, all we needed was our mustering out pay.
The NCO on duty could not find the proper paperwork, threw up his hands and said those magic words, “Come back tomorrow.” and I blew a gasket and demanded to know, “Where we gonna go! No Barracks, no food, you gonna let us pile up right here all night?” and about a dozen mustering out men were ready to hang him right there!
He suddenly shuffled some papers, and found the paperwork and we were on our way.
PTSD is not usually an aggressive state. It's an ongoing state of fear.
Let's say the average persons fear/anxiety engine idles at 500rpm.
Somebody with PTSD is idling at 3000rpm.
Announce yourself when you walk up behind them or you will be peeling them off the ceiling.
If you notice they are sleeping in, don't disturb. They've probably been awake all night.
The Marine Corps has a similar problem with our S-1 Admin pogues. Our S-1 clowns have the innate ability to ignore any and all at the counter. These guys are good, there could be 20 Marines at the counter and every single admin pogue is suddenly too busy to help them. They won’t make eye contact, and they suddenly go deaf. All non admin Marines believe that the S-1 school teaches an entire block on the art of ignoring Marines at the counter.
Our men should have a ‘get well camp’ and be cared for until they are back to ‘normal’ just as they had to train to fight in camps. It could be part of the VA hospitals. Not like they have now. Bigger and better.
The gov. made them this way. The gov. should do everything in their power to make them whole again. Instead they get screwed.
When this generation comes home, they fly. Home in hours, get on the next plane home. Some of them are only hours from combat. We first heard of PTSD after Vietnam. I had a friend who landed in San Francisco only 24 hours from combat. Some stupid broad with flowers in her hair asked him"How many babies did you kill?" He came through it, I think, because he had a wife to talk to. Maybe she did not understand what had happened, but she listened.
He was never completely normal. I always wondered what would have happened if she had not been there.
Our govt, on the other hand sends them to see some shrink, some of them holding a secret hatred for this country. It always seemed to me that married soldiers recovered better than single ones.
Personally. I don't want to know someone who is not changed in some way by combat. To me that person is not normal.
God bless the men and women who put their lives on hold to serve us and their country. They are our hope for the future.
