Congratulations! We did it!

Thanks to your loyal support, we are celebrating the movement's first victory of 2014 in Florida's 19th Congressional district tonight with Tea Party-supported Curt Clawson.

Tonight, Southwest Florida voted to send a bold Tea Party conservative to D.C. Curt Clawson's unique background as a former CEO of a multi-billion dollar international company will be a powerful addition to Congress.

The results tonight were clear, Curt Clawson's Tea Party message of economic growth and fiscal responsibility resonated with the voters of Southwest Florida. It was exactly that kind of platform that fueled Republican victories in 2010 and 2012, and we're starting 2014 with another decisive victory here tonight.

 

We are with the campaign celebrating tonight before we cotinue the "Fighting for Liberty" tour tomorrow

Curt's success sends a clear message to candidates across the country: you win elections by campaigning in bold colors, not pale pastels, as President Reagan once famously said.

It also sends a message to te whole nation that the grassroots Tea Party movement is alive and well.

The Tea Party/Anything label does not necessarily represent the sentiments of original Taxed Enough Already movement members who are still alive and kickin’.

Oh good, the first response to the thread is a disgruntled assuming negative comment about the TPM.

Don’t worry about Free Republic members, they think for themselves which is why many of them understand that the TPX is on the cutting edge of Conservative grassroots action out there in the field.

Free Republic and the Tea Party Express were involved from the very beginning working for what America needs to recover from the assault on it’s Constitutional Republic from the leftists as well as the GOP-e.

Of course The Tea Party/Anything label does not represent the sentiments of original Taxed Enough Already movement members.

But the TPX does.

Watch out for knockoffs just out just for themselves and using the tea party label for their own purposes.

Tea Party Express and Free Republic, partnered in these efforts BTW, are not among those I just described.

You misread my post and my intent. Negative on the "disgruntled" and I'm not new here; I too am a member of FR!

And yes I already do listen to and pay attention to the national TPX. I think they made the politically expedient choice in this instance, not the best one for conservatives.

My preferred candidate lost; so what? Lay off. My preferred candidates lose a lot of the time.

I read somewhere that the Tea Party Express or perhaps another Tea Party group is supporting Gene Taylor in MS against Steven Palazzo.

If that is correct, how can that be? Taylor was a Pelosi supporting democrat representative before Palozzi beat him.
Now Taylor is running in the GOP primary, and the Tea Party is supporting him? Please say it ain’t so.

The Tea Party Express is back for another nationwide bus tour called "Fighting for Liberty" and we launched this weekend with a great rally in Florida!

Friend, we are really excited about the group of entertainers, conservative leaders and politicians that have signed on to join us along the tour.  We haven't officially announced the lineup yet of the whole tour, but wanted to share it with our loyal supporters first.

These folks are tired of watching the failed policies of Barack Obama and his big-government pals in Congress push this country closer to the brink of financial disaster, while blaming and badmouthing conservatives like YOU for their failures.

That's why they are joining us as we are back on the road for our 9th national bus tour.

While all of these folks are volunteering their time and lives to fight for the principles that we hold dear, endeavors like our tour are not without significant cost.

Tea Party Express “Fighting for Liberty” National Bus Tour in Mobile this Wednesday!

Sacramento, CA - Tea Party Express’ “Fighting for Liberty” national bus tour is stopping in Mobile tomorrow at 5:00 PM for an exciting Tea Party rally. The tour is travelling through 9 key Tea Party battleground states.

Wednesday, April 23rd at 5:00 PM

Speakers will include national and local Tea Party leaders, the hit conservative band Rivoli Revue, and singer/songwrite Diana Nagy 

Tea Party Express Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “We are excited to get back out on the road in support of our conservative message of fiscal responsibility, economic growth and limited government. 2014 will be the year we rip the gavel out of Harry Reid’s hand and return it to the people.

“We will do that by rallying and engaging conservative Americans from across the country on issues that are important to us all.  While we appreciate the major advertising being done by many different political action committees, our focus is on rallying grassroots conservatives to become more involved in the political process.  The two together will give us the best chance to increase our hold on the House and to take the Senate,” Budowich concluded.

The event will be MC’d by Tea Party Express’ own, Donlyn Turnbull. Donlyn is a prolific conservative writer, blogger, and commentator that has spoken to local and national audiences. The Rivoli Revue is best known for their hit track “Press ’1′ for English,” which they have performed on Huckabee and has surpassed 16 million views on YouTube. Other national names include Charles Johnson, Scottie Nell Hughes, Katrina Pierson, and Dr. Gina Loudon.

The bus tour started in Fort Myers, Florida, on April 19th before heading west with stops in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. The buses will then head north, rallying in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota.  The states were selected because of key battles for House and Senate seats.

The Tea Party Express rallies will include a number of prominent conservative commentators, entertainers and candidates seeking federal office.

Big misunderstanding here, I apologize.

It was kind of a joke because that information was emailed out from TPX headquarters to their main list of consistent supporters as a “sneak preview” and they were being giving a heads up because of their faithful giving through out the years.
