The victim of an attempted Bronx carjacking went berserk Friday, chasing down the thieves and shooting them dead, cops said.

Instead he’s probably gonna end up in Prison. Because he chased them. I’d argue that I didn’t know if they were going to go kill someone else, so I had to protect lives.

If the shooter was an off duty cop, a lot of people at Free Republic would be demanding a First Degree Murder charge. It should (and will) be a first degree murder charge no matter who the shooter was. In this case it's a three-fer: two dead Obama sons and a third in the slammer.

That would depend on the context. There are a lot of cops who’s first reaction is to shoot or beat the crap out of somebody where it was very clear that a killing didn’t need to he done.

Johnson, “a loving, caring, brother,” became the father of a boy last month, said his sister, Yanique Johnson, 26 Loving daddy ... tried a carjacking and got dead.
Sad for the baby but it's the thug dad's fault.

Apparently, this isn’t the worst of New York neighborhoods, but it’s next to it.
Looks like an older Mercedes ML, not really an extravagant vehicle.
Seems like only the Daily News is covering the story, and they’re not showing pictures. Being held without bail.
Almost certainly black-on-black crime.
