A motorist driving along I-66 in Washington gave President Obamas motorcade the finger Saturday. Its unclear if the president gave the driver the finger right back.
Rumors that the driver was Solange Knowles could not be confirmed.
From the White House pool report:
Poolster observed one motorist on I-66 from DC extend his middle finger at the motorcade, but unable to tell if said motorist knew who was in the motorcade, or just didnt like being passed.
Well, I assure you, anyone if the Washington area with a car knows who is generally in a big motorcade. Unless it was a foreign visitor unfamiliar with American hand language trying to tell Obama, Youre number one!
Obama was on his way to play golf, this time, atypically for his Washington outings, at a private club.
Presidential motorcade arrived 10:40 am at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va, an exclusive course thats hosted four Presidents Cups.
Pool got no eyes on POTUS. Informed by WH staff that his golfing partners today include former Dallas Mayor and U.S. Trade Rep. Ron Kirk.
Also golfing with POTUS is Milton Carroll, chairman of CenterPoint Energy, a public utility company based in Houston, Texas.
Third partner identified as Joe ONeill.
Kirk, as you may know, if famous for being the USTR who failed to start and complete a single trade deal during his four years on the job.
It was Obamas 13th time playing this year and the 170th outing as president.
I’m surprised the motorcade didn’t take up all lanes.
I used to live in New Orleans. One day VP Gore came to visit.
I just happened to be in front of the motorcade. I was going to get off the highway but apparently Gore was going to get off at that exit. There were a couple of cops on motorbikes in front of him (not sure how many vehicles in the motorcade). In my rear view mirror, I saw them shake their heads in the negative direction, as if to say “don’t get off here.”
So I stayed on the highway and got off at another exit.
He’d just think Occupy New York was welcoming him.
Like that’s never happened before.
I give BO the finger every day
I didn’t think they saw me. ; )
Good thing too.
I’m afraid Bathhouse Barry may take it as a pass and have you pulled over so he could sample the produce.
Actually, I’d bet he’s a catcher, not a pitcher.
audit inbound...
Obama has spent 170 of his days in office playing golf.
He makes this statement that he’s “mad as hell”, but he spends 170 days golfing. “Mad as hell”? My ass. Lazy as hell.
It was October of 1980, Carter was in Palos Hills, IL visiting Moraine Valley Community College on a campaign stop. I lived two blocks from the main entrance, right along 111th St. in Palos Hills.
The police had come and blocked 111th St. going east and west. Fortuntely for me, I was on 88th Ave. at 111th St. right at the stop light. As the motorcade approached I got out of my car, stood on my hood and dropped my pants exposing my ass as the motorcade went by.
Surprisingly, I wasn't arrested. To this day I don't know why.
BTW: Yes, I voted for Reagan. That was the first Presidential election I was eligible to vote in.
Heh. I’ve given the finger to Gore and Dale Earnhardt.
Meh, I did it 3 years ago when he came to our burg in his Canadian bus, shut down all the roads and I couldn’t get my one year old god-daughter home to her Navy serving mommy. Daddy was at sea....
Damn man kept her up too late so I flipped him off.....POS.
Somehow, I’d moon him even if I was driving.
Somehow, I’d moon him even if I was driving.
I always do that to the Mahdi, accompanied by an appropriate remark about him being a piece of “subhuman pig pig s..t,” and hitting the mute. BTW the remark about what he really is, is a deliberate insult to his real religion.
Actually it was the VA Secretary who said he was mad as hell. Obama said he was “MADDER” than hell.
