You are still assuming we will have a presidential election in 2016. I am no longer convinced.
How so?

Last night we watched Atlas Shrugged part 2 and that scene where Hank Rearden is in the courtroom and telling the judge that he will not voluntarily go to jail or voluntarily pay a fine and says, "If you feel you have the right to use force against me, then show it for the theft it really is: bring guns," and then he says, "If you believe you may seize my property simply because you need it, well then so does any burglar. The only difference is the burglar doesn't ask my permission." And I thought, Holy Cow, Cliven Bundy is Hank Rearden! I just hadn't thought of it before now!

And I do hope you're right. Just feeling dark this weekend with yet another waste of space killing a bunch of innocent people and this criminal administration getting ready to use it yet again for a gun grab.

It may seem trite to state this but hope does spring eternal through the power of Christ. Godly people like our own Jim Robinson as well as Governor Sarah Palin and Senator Ted Cruz are on the watch to ensure that freedom, liberty and guns will remain part of what America is all about. And, I urge you to join others in prayer -- pray for Free Republic and the other agents of good. And never forget this verse from James 5:16:

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Amen!

Fictionally we have the television show Psyche about Santa Barbara's greatest detective, a joke because nothing violent is supposed to happen in well-off Santa Barbara.

“Women are attracted to power, money, or fame.”

This guy may not have wanted a gold digging bitch.

“That is a dangerous site, and should be taken down asap.”

No, the more dangerous view is that we should censor what we view to be dangerous views.

A whole lot of people think FR is a dangerous site.

“If I had a BWM like that at his age, I’d be fighting the girls off. Evidently he had a “creep factor” about him that women were able to pick up on, and thus avoided him.”

I think he is an intellectual, introverted personality.

Problem is, the girls he likes are probably extroverted, non intellectual, party girls.

It is more of a mismatch than an inability to get a girl.

The hunger games is a rare combination of Tea Party and the Occupy movement.

The villans are rich people (Occupy), the people living in the capital city and big government (teaparty).

The heros are poor people (occupy) and middle class who get reduced to being poor in flyover country (teaparty).

He often posted to some website based on guys who felt rejected by women and were bitter about it. I read some posters on that site were calling his murders a ‘heroic’ action. That is a dangerous site, and should be taken down asap.

Incorrect. That site should be utilized as a honey-pot to identify more like him.

I did not find the guy creepy or nutty at all.

He is a young boy that did not figure out the opposite sex yet.

A lot of young boys kill themselves over this stuff. He went over the edge obviously, but many young boys are like him (awkward around girls).

’m gonna go ahead and guess that the MAIGgots and moms lookin’ for a little “action” are already crankin’ up their press releases
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, those bored housewives who follow Bloomie around like so many star-struck groupies. Their name sounds too "clumsy", how about something more catchy, like Moms Impugning Legal Firearms, or MILF for short ;)

LOL! Uh, okay. After looking at some of the resumes, the “leaders” are hardly what you would call normal everyday stay at home moms. But hey. As long as it make them “feel” good that they are “doing something” it must be okay. Right? Uh, no.

Why does this kind of stuff happen more in the US than any other country? Seems we have more than our share of alienated, freaked out, violent wierdos.

All that freedom, but they lack the responsibility that goes with it.
