Every one of Moore's books including the one that made him (in)famous, Roger And Me was based on lies. Moore claimed he never met GM CEO Roger Smith. He actually did meet Smith. But Moore never let facts get in the way of muckraking.

"'Disturbed white males' are the most dangerous people in the country: Michael Moore"While it would appear that Mr. Moore is a disturbed white male and is most dangerous -- according to FBI statistics http://www.fbi.gov/expanded-homicide-data-table-3 of identified murder offenders in 2011, 4,729 were white but 5,486 were black. Only 10.7% of homicide offenders were women. According to the Census Bureau, 13.1% of the US population identified as "Black or African American alone". Only half that number would be males.
A small segment of the US population is responsible for the majority of all US murders. Mr. Moore is completely full of something besides hot air and bulging adipocytes but that's nothing new.

The killer was born in London to an English father – film director Peter Rodger – and a Malaysian mother, but moved to America at the age of five. If there weren't dead people involved this would be hilarious. Looks like Moore researched this crime as well as he researches his movies.
