Tuesday on NewsMax TV, former U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Oliver North said U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was not a prisoner of war because he was actually being held "hostage" by the Haqqanis, a terrorist group separate from the Taliban and associated heavily with al Qaeda.
North said he knew there was at least a $1 million dollar ransom being demanded for Bergdahl some time ago so he estimated the price paid to release the hostage must be close to $5-6 million now.

I have been pondering whether we paid a ransom for Bergdahl.
If we did, we have not only emboldened our enemy, we had set an even greater precedent for the future—a very evil one.

Enough to finance a war on Americans....and there is speculation our 400 surface to air missiles that disappeared in Benghazi are in the hands of either the Taliban or Al Quaida...there was gun running going on in Benghazi prior to the attack, which some had reported.
So if the Malaysian plane is somewhere in the possession of terrorists, we have a real problem...out there somewhere. Were any of these guys trained to pilot a plane? Did they need a jet pilot?

As a mobster, every action by 0bama is a transaction. Paying would not be surprising for this vile man.
But was it $5M or $6M? Did we pay America’s enemies a bonus of $1M for each mass murdering terrorist Obama gave them, or did we pay that bonus for each mass murderer plus an extra $1M for the deserting traitor that Obama brought back?

I was just going to say, not exactly the best messenger for this case.
I’m sure there was a demand for money when they first took him. No surprise there.
Maybe the 5 terrorists released were in lieu of $$?
