A prudent man would have foreseen what was coming back before the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. A prudent man would have spent the last 20 years buying what he wanted, needed, and could afford. A prudent man would have also taken advantage of the expiration of the 1994 ban in 2004 and went as hog wild as he could, financially, to correct the prior inability. A prudent man.
Long live prudent men!
Those that are trying to be prudent now are 8 years too late.
The point is, they didn't care about anyone owning them in '34 or '94. The intent each time was to whittle down each generations rights and brainwash each successive generation with a total ban in, lets say, 2024, when all of the prudent men are gone.
I’m thinkin’ as far back as GCA ‘68. That really got the ball rolling after pos bobby k got popped.

I should have bought all those rifles, when I had the money, before George Bush I stopped the import of them. Wish I had a Daewoo or an Austrian AUG.
Now I can’t afford to pop a primer on anything!
