Noted party-jumper Charlie Crist has blown a 12-point lead over Florida's incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Scott, narrowing the state's gubernatorial race to a dead heat, according to the Democratic-leaning survey firm Public Policy Polling.

Crist is tied very closely to the Morgan & Morgan firm. Don't know if your familiar with the Laws here in Florida, but they are designed to keep lawyers employed. Generally the trial lawyers are big backers of Democrats and while Crist was always a RINO even that facade is gone now.
Scott is no prize, but keeping the Orange Menace out of the Governor’s office is still paramount.
I plan to vote against Crist.
In the fwiw dept, I don’t like gov Scott much, but I will vote for him because he understands micro and macro economics.

I definitely agree, but I am having a really hard time justifying in my mind voting for someone because they are not someone else.
Rick Scott is also just horrible.

Actually, I think this might be a case of proactive pollsters trying to cover their asses. These overblown leads that the polls continually publish right up until election are normal practice but Dave Brat made them look stupid.

Boy is that the truth! When Scott refused to get rid of that crooked prosecutor in the Travon Martin mess, I parted company with him as a leader.
I love to hear about Republican turned Democrat Crist's "best friends." Convicted Ponzi fraudster--Scott Rothstein, Repub John McCain, Democrat Bill Richardson...all of whom endorsed him years ago.
I wouldn’t say “horrible”, but subpar, and he has made a lot of mistakes (not having some prior political experience was a problem, even if not as an elected official, but with grassroots activism).
We often have to make “nose holding” decisions. Crist is simply so horrid, that he has to be stopped. Allowing him to get back to Tallahassee to line the benches in FL with moonbats is a big reason why.
If Crist doesn't blow this one he will just blow the next one.

Scott has been running good commercials. Nothing is coincidental with Democrats so this is the year that medicinal marijuna is on the ballot in an inititive funded greatly by good friend of Charlies, Morgan of a major law firm that Charlie has been a part of last few years. But Scott has done his job an brought jobs to Florida. IT won’t surprise me if Crist wins, becuase the media does not like Scott, but i am hopeful that Scott gets four more years
