Newly released documents show prosecutors believe Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was at the center of a nationwide "criminal scheme" to illegally coordinate fundraising with outside conservative groups.

No charges have been filed against Walker or any member of his staff.

Prosecutors say Walker, his chief of staff and others who worked for him were discussing illegal coordination with a number of national groups and prominent figures, including GOP strategist Karl Rove.

Accusations before election and after the election is over and and lost ,then charges dropped.
How many times are republicans going to allow this to happen?
It is so obvious by now.
Every speech by a rep should start with addressing this crime by libs.

There were no comments on the story, so I left this one:

DrThorne •a few seconds ago

"In other words, some disgruntled Democrat prosecutors went on a fishing expedition against Scott Walker, put what they had before a judge who threw it out of court... and the AP and ABCNEWS thinks this is a news story! It should only serve to inform Americans what a bunch of seethingly hate-filled criminals Democrats really are. They couldn't defeat Walker at the ballot box, so they desperately tried to use the judicial system. That was an utter failure. So, now they've released the story to their reliable lapdogs in the media, hoping they can ruin Walker in the court of public opinion. The Democrat Party and the progressives that infect the media are enemies of truth and the most laughable freakshow on the planet. They deserve nothing but scorn and contempt."

This is an ABC hit piece. Those being investigated demanded the documents be made public. ABC saves the best for last:
"These documents show how the John Doe prosecutors adopted a blatantly unconstitutional interpretation of Wisconsin law that they used to launch a secret criminal investigation targeting conservatives throughout Wisconsin," Grossman said in an email Thursday. "Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and this is a story that needs to be told to prevent more abuses and to hold the John Doe prosecutors accountable for violating the rights of Wisconsinites."

Even if nothing comes of it, they’ll push the headlines as long as they can, make sure it is covered on all of the Sunday political talk shows, etc., etc. And the press is “all in” on the strategy.

They've been at it for over three years now. There is nothing there, and anyone who is not a true believer is getting sick of it.

Imagine how differently the headlines would read if this had involved Republican prosecutors making legally baseless allegations about a Democrat governor in order to investigate liberal groups.
