[VANITY] Why the IRS Emails Were "Lost" - The Smoking Gun
Spectator,org ^ | June 20, 2014 | Various

Posted on 06/20/2014 7:08:17 AM PDT by tom h

When the news trickled out a year ago that the head of the IRS union, Colleen ("fat and ugly") Kelley, met with President Obama the day before the agency began targeting the Tea Party, I finally saw the link. The story was picked up by many news sources on the right but did not develop any further.

It's my opinion that this is the connection that the "lost" emails are trying to hide. And it's a big connection -- the White House, the POTUS, the union boss, and the government agency all collaborating, and conspiring, to thwart the actions of free citizens.

I am not surprised that it happened. There is arrogance in all three quarters -- the gangster mentality of the White House political staff; the arrogance of any union, especially the IRS union; and the arrogance of the IRS, which is the most powerful and feared agency in the USA.

What makes it especially significant, and worth having to make the incredulous claim that the emails were lost, is that if the connection is exposed:

1) The IRS Union might well be disbanded.
2) The "Abolish the IRS" movement might actually succeed, removing a huge amount of government power.

What makes the IRS officials so desperate here, is not that the drip-dip-drip will get to the White House. That happens every 8 years and the process can be dragged out. The real threat is to the very agency that leftist government loves. The associated threat is to the notion that government employees should even belong to unions.

Thoughts or comments? If there has been more information about the connection with Colleen Kelley and the union I'd be thrilled to see it.

Gaffer:" I think the House has some formidable power on the books. They should start using it.
All the way from to refusing to fund Executive Agencies ..
Understand the power, use the power and tell the Executive and Judicial Branches to stuff it."

Right ! But a neww "rookie" freshman in the House is taught to expend most of their energy to directing funds into the Party
not legislative action ,
sorta like the basic House Freshman rule is "Let's all get along"
rather than vote your conscience , or , represent your constituency .
Freshman are graded by their superiors by the ability to bring new money into the Party , rather than representation .

Every Young Turk conservative should be fighting the Republican hierarchy more than they do (or would) against Democrats. They should never accede to leadership requirements. All these historical rules are not binding and they have been misused and abused for near a century.

There is no reason whatsoever a Boehner should have any more power than and boot freshman in my opinion. The citizens, besides being abjectly stupid, who voted Boehner in are no more important or worthy of power than a brand new congressman.

If they want to stand on the tradition of rules and protocols, then they'd damned well better be prepared to comport with the Bill of Rights and the rest of the Constitution in its entirety.

As far as I'm concerned, Republican leadership is equal to or greater than the threat presented than Democrats. It is disgusting that these 'leaders' refuse to 'lead.'

For more than 100 years we did fine without any tax on income.

We did BETTER.

Doesn’t “fat and ugly” pretty much describe every leftist female in a government position of power? :-)

It’s like what Rush Limbaugh always says... Feminism is a nothing more than a vehicle for unattractive women to gain easier access into the mainstream.

There is absolutely no justification under the sun why the IRS should have such unilateral and unaccounted power as the IRS. NO reason.

Actually, it's more egregious than that. In this case, it wasn't the IRS that originated and ran the scheme, it was the IRS union!

It was the Union conducting the war on the Tea Party. The Union evidently directed the Agency to harass the Tea Party applicants. And it was the Union who then directed 94-98% of their political contributions to not just any Democrat, but Democrats running against Tea Party-associated candidates.

You’ll find revenge as a motivator for a lot of Democrats.

If Conservatives/Republicans gain complete control in 2016, I hope they will investigate every political Democrat’s tax returns, where they are hiding money in off shore banks, illegal campaign donations and any illegal thing that the Dems have done to the Repubs.

I also hope the same. But I fear that the House (Boehner) and the Senate (McConnell) will once again try to be appeasing and accommodating to the Democrats. They don’t know how to be in charge and lead - they never have.

Look at what they did when they had the House, Senate and White House in the first two years of Bush II.

You’re right.

The bigger it gets the more people are convinced the IRS targeted the TEA Party to get Obama reelected.

The fact is this was Hillary’s operation and it was a repeat of what the Clintons attempted to do during the Clinton years, make it illegal to be a conservative and speak out against the government.

Hillary had herself a nice little plan to have the “right wing extremist”/TEA Party declared a terrorist organization.

The IRS was after the names of these “terrorist”.

Interesting future job possibility. A human penile plethysmograph! A counselor friend of mine tells me that sexual offenders are treated with the plethysmograph while exhibiting copies of Hustler.

Making fun of someone’s appearance will cause that person to work tirelessly to get revenge on you,

Seems that's all some FReepers can manage to bring to the table. It's a waste at best and a hindrance at worst.

Why were the emails lost? Probably because Don Obama hasn’t got around to killing witnesses yet. Needs a Mafia Czar to advise him.
