There must be something on that page that’s incompatible with my device. Is there a video? I see a large blank space where something must be missing. Whatever it is, I’m not seeing the rest of the story. Please tell me about the miracle. I could use a happy story to start the day with.

I could not tell you how many times I have listened to Guy Clark’s “The Cape”. It is so simple with just an acoustical guitar and simple lyrics and only about 4 min. long. This version is beautiful in Hi Def video. IMHO a good song is a complete story told in three or four minutes. Set to simple music.

Wow!! That was great! Also, there was a link on the side to Jimmie Rodgers' version as well, recorded in 1960 -- you could definitely see (hear?) similarities between Jimmmie's version and the Beach Boys' cover. Bet that's what Brian Wilson was listening to, prior to doing the BBs' arrangement.

Hung a few pictures today. I'll be hanging the bulk of them tomorrow and Monday. I'm just about ready to declare myself moved in.

I'll start previewing the Seattle Chamber Music Festival next week. This is the first time in four years that I'll be physically present at some of the concerts. They have some great wallerin' music programmed for this year.
