A spokesperson for police in the district of Hochsauerlandkreis in the German Federal State of Nordrhein Westfalen, reported the accident.
The German armed forces and a spokesperson for the German Air Force confirmed for the magazine Spiegel Online.de and the daily Bild, that the military plane was a German Air Force Eurofighter.

Some of the smaller light jets are approved for single pilot operations, but not all are.
Not sure which model Lear it was, but am wondering if it required a pilot and co-pilot.

Updated info indicates the Lear jet was providing some sort of training for the Luftwaffe. Might have been towing a gunnery sleeve; during EW training, jets typically don’t get close enough for a mid-air.
Offing Soros would be a public service to most of the world.
Soros probably started the rumor himself, hoping for a flash crash to scoop up his own stocks on the cheap.

The seeds of that rumor came from somewhere.
Btw, there is some big deal going on right now with a Spanish Billionairess (or maybe former Billionairess) and Soros trying to buy her debt.
Someone involved with that could have tried to start something. You never know what people are up to...

If there were only two on board then it was pilot and co-pilot. Soros would have made 3 at the least. And I'm sure the guy never travels without a bunch of flunkies.
IF the rumor was that O had died then I agree that can easily tank a market ( or maybe make it boom). It happened the day reagan was shot and the first rumors were that he was dead.... Soros wouldn’t have any bigger effect on the market than hearing that Jobs died

It just depends on what you are trading and the mood of the traders at the time.
Btw, I watched a stock do a mini crash when some clown on twitter made a joke about the CEO.
The response was almost immediate...and it shows the power of twitter.
