After the NJ state ploice ended their profiling on the NJ Turnpike (I won’t call it “racial profiling”; it involved much more than that - southern states’ license plates with no luggage, etc.), gun crimes immediately spiked in the northern cities. The same minorities whining about traffic stops got violent deaths instead...
The painfully politically correct police commissioner Bratton claims that the rise in shooting deaths has absolutely nothing to do with the restrictions placed on police. Under de Blasio a good aggressive street cop is more likely to be punished than the criminal he arrests or the crimes he prevents.
Comrade Bill is burning the social seed corn built up by the Giuliani and Bloomberg administrations. Once that’s gone, NYC will be Chicago on the Hudson.
NJ State police once had the highest confiscation rate of illegal drugs than any non Federal police agency in the country. after Jackson and Sharpton complained (wonder who financed their complaint)those drug seizures dropped to almost zero. Now the drugs make their way to consumers , especially minorities, and cause all sorts of social misery.
Like Chicago,it would be relevant if any of those victims stopped voting Democrat. This just makes them more reliable voters.

Certainly; more important for liberals (who don’t take drug abuse seriously anyway), the HANDGUNS are being brought up from southern states for use in the drug trade.

The problem is that the “makers” leave, and the “takers” lose their subsidies. The last time NYC had mob rule (the early 90s), a lot of wealth left the city.
The results of the “analysis” may be doctored to show there is no relation between the decline of stop and frisk and increased gun violence. Just another political ploy to counter newspaper reports of increased crime.
As the crime problem New York festers it will be a reminder of why Democrats should NEVER be put in charge of our lives.
I hope you have been listening to the Mayor and Governor and their quotes of “We don’t need your kind.” When you have no concept of where wealth comes from there are no expected consequences. They, like Obama have no interest in the makers as long as Obama owns the printing press.
