After the NJ state ploice ended their profiling on the NJ Turnpike (I won’t call it “racial profiling”; it involved much more than that - southern states’ license plates with no luggage, etc.), gun crimes immediately spiked in the northern cities. The same minorities whining about traffic stops got violent deaths instead...
The painfully politically correct police commissioner Bratton claims that the rise in shooting deaths has absolutely nothing to do with the restrictions placed on police. Under de Blasio a good aggressive street cop is more likely to be punished than the criminal he arrests or the crimes he prevents.
Comrade Bill is burning the social seed corn built up by the Giuliani and Bloomberg administrations. Once that’s gone, NYC will be Chicago on the Hudson.
Like Chicago,it would be relevant if any of those victims stopped voting Democrat. This just makes them more reliable voters.
The results of the “analysis” may be doctored to show there is no relation between the decline of stop and frisk and increased gun violence. Just another political ploy to counter newspaper reports of increased crime.
As the crime problem New York festers it will be a reminder of why Democrats should NEVER be put in charge of our lives.
