The people who are trying to advance the idea of bolting the Republican Party and starting a third party are Democrats. Their strategy is called “Divide and Conquer”.

The most powerful, immediate response to this crap would be for Mississippi conservatives to refuse to vote for either candidate in the general election. If the GOPe sees that this behavior is going to cost them elections and power they may think twice.

Was it Reince Preibus who designed the crazy election laws in Mississippi? In most other states, you win a plurality of 49 percent and you are the nominee. Mississippi throws in a run-off and open primary and it is Preibus’ fault?

Holy Crap: Corruption in the Mississippi Senate race looks much worse than we thought

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3174434/posts

This scandal has the potential to blow up the GOPe nationwide.

It’s still early enough to recover for November.

I need to hear from Senator Ted Cruz when this scandal topples McConnell.

DEMOCRAT PASTOR ACCUSES THAD COCHRAN CAMPAIGN OF VOTE-FOR-PAY SCHEME

A black Mississippi pastor has emerged to claim Sen. Thad Cochran's (R-MS) campaign paid “thousands” of Democrats $15 each to vote in the June 24 GOP runoff – and that he was part of the scheme.

He didn’t get to the bottom line.

By spending a ton of money and cheating, the RINO might win the primary. But without conservative votes, the RINO will lose the general election to the Democrat.

Had they played fair, the seat would still be Republican, but they cheated. Granted, the GOP-e would prefer a Democrat over a conservative, they have made this clear. But conservatives can still win by slowly and methodically purging RINOs from the leadership.

A treacherous RINO is worth two Democrats in the amount of damage they can do to the conservative agenda. So it is actually better if a Democrat wins than an old, established and powerful RINO.

So finally, the GOP-e and conservatives agree on one thing.

This election, hopefully conservatives will abandon McConnell, Graham, Cochran, and Alexander; and we will be about halfway home to control over the Republican party.

Once that happens, it will finally be a fair political fight between conservatives and Democrats.

Sadly I was talking to my kin in Mississippi last night, they vote pretty conservative, and they were calling McDaniel a sore loser and that Cochran was the right winner so just move on. I just shook my head while I listened.

The one question left unasked here is why was money that was donated to the National GOP to help defeat Democrats in November used instead to help defeat Republicans in June?
