Hillary Clinton’s book tour hasn’t been the love-fest with the media that she was counting on. As a matter of fact, it has been something of a disaster. During an interview with Steve Scully of C-SPAN, set to air this weekend on BookTV, according to Politico, he asked Hillary if she follows everything that’s written about her.
Clinton: I can’t, Steve. I can’t. It’s just overwhelming. I can’t do it. So I skim it. If it’s important it will come to me, I assume. A lot of it is inaccurate or unimportant to me. I try to keep up with it, but I can’t possibly read it all. I would be doing nothing else.
As the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in 2016, Clinton thought the media would fawn over her book tour, and that it would serve as a test launch for her presumed presidential run in 2016.

I am left wondering — do the Democrats really want the Clintons in 2016??? This book tour was a disaster. Book sales are tanking. There are lots of negative Clinton stories in the media recently.
I’ve heard that the Clintons are not exactly loved by many Democrats. And they see Hillary as sucking all the oxygen out of the room. And they see Hillary as blocking their own presidential ambitions for the next 10 years. You figure if Hillary runs and wins in 2016, she would run for re-election in 2020. So then the next open Democrat presidential nomination would be in 2024, ten years from now. Some Democrats also feel the Clintons aren’t liberal enough for them.
Add it all up, and I would expect someone to come out and challenge the Clintons for president.
Actually, I can’t blame her for not reading all of that negative stuff. If she took it seriously, how could she get out of bed in the morning? And how could she contemplate running for office?
Better to stay cocooned, out of touch with the voters, the “little people,” as the BP CEO so eloquently called Americans on the Gulf Coast.
The real question is, do the big donors read those reports?
Hmmm.....10% untrue and maybe 90% true and she doesn’t care? Who knows?
I think it would be best if she read all of what is written about her. That would depress her badly...and who knows what she might do.

Trying to keep an objective viewpoint, I have found that there is something lacking in her personality.....shame.....she has none. Beyond that, she has not taken very controversial stances on anything except, “What difference does it make now?” and that was a complete disaster for her. In addition, she seems to try to be a ‘vanilla’ personality but in reality is as phony as a three-dollar bill. I am wondering why that phoniness does not show through for anyone who views her objectively.
Right, because someone who publishes two biographies in a 10 year span isn’t concerned what others think of them.

I, for one, believe much of what David Brock wrote about her in American Spectator....many years ago.

It’s the facts that get her upset.
A BIG problem in this country is that people cannot believe what IS happening under the Democrats/Obama CAN happen in THIS country. It HAPPENS to OTHER countries, NOT America, and the news media, whatever the type of media contributes to the confusion, thus the chaos.
Clinton is NOT BAAAD Obama, therefore in the mind of the LIV whose brains are permanently skewed thanks to Leftist Democrat propaganda she’s GOOD, AND she would be the first woman President in history, and what a great day it will be for history sayeth they of the glazed over eyes.
We have to make more believers out of they. It’s happening, and Hillary is part of the BAAD, NOT the GOOD.

Her daughter - making $600,000 a year - doesn’t care about money either... And Bill ‘never had sex with THAT woman’... either...

Ha! Imagine that...truth from a Clinton, but I believe her.
In Clinton-speak, she is saying that all of the official propaganda written is truly inaccurate, of course, because it is used to counter and cover up the actual truth that is written about her (the list is long), which is unimportant to her.
Convenient, since she "can't recall" it anyway, which has been the case since long before her many recent falls and head injuries.
Does she miss old Webb ?
