The Knockout Game exists, and Jihad exists, but I think you are right: this is neither. This is just a bad person who flipped out in the middle of a soccer game and attacked the ref.
Yeah and then gave the crowd the finger after he “accidentally” murdered the ref. Completely understandable. I know I believe this, thousands would not, but of course I do.

Well, he hadn’t murdered the ref at all at that point. The ref died the next day.
Perhaps he was a psychic jihadist? Or he knows a secret kung fu technique that is guaranteed to kill a person after 24 hours? Like that 5 finger death touch from Kill Bill?

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Any punch to the head can be fatal, if it is hard enough. A concussion is a potentially fatal condition, and you don’t have to hit any specific area to cause one, you only need to hit with enough force to drive the brain into the skull.
How nice that you take this man’s death so lightly.
I’m not taking his death lightly. I’m taking the absurd theory of some posters that this was an act of terrorism lightly.
