Robert Redford has signed on to play Dan Rather in Truth, a film based on the 2005 memoir Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power.
The book, written by Rather's producer Mary Mapes, centers on the firestorm that erupted in September of 2004 after Rather reported that George W. Bush had received special treatment while serving in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War, a report that was based on documents that turned out to be forgeries. - See more at: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/robert-redford-play-dan-rather-717476#sthash.Y0QB620e.dpuf

I say Mel Gibson! lol
How ridiculous and petty this will look compared to everything that is going on now. Why doesn’t Robert Redford do something that may actually mean something and make a difference. Their hatred is that deep.
Now THERE’s a movie I can’t wait to stay away from!
P.S. I went to see “AMERICA” on Monday. It’s better than I expected. I gave “orders” for my daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters to go see it. I know the 2 girls have never heard anything truthful about our Founding in public schools; and what the parents learned, if anything, surely needs a refresher.
Sorry I missed it.
I saw it opening night. AMERICA is a must-see for conservatives and their families.
We’ve got to support counter media.
Mary Mapes ... didn’t she come in 2nd to Li’l Debbie Schultz in a Capitol Hill Ugly contest?
This thing’s going to be a steaming pile, isn’t it?
Another “Hollywood” flop!!! I guess there are some pretty dumb film investors out there in Hollywood “LaLa” land!!! Robert Redford......this flick is toast before it is even released!!!!
I’ll pass. I have way too weak stomach.

Love your handle but why so long? I will try to do as you suggest in your handle, but, I reserve the right to be superfluous, verbose, nonsensical, rambling, peripatetic—even though that does not apply to our thesis, rather my theoretical thesis—which is not a theses at all, not even a dissertation—and it could even include words such as irreverent, listless and even downright unapologetic, rude, intentionally baseless, comedic and maybe just plain silly. Having said that, I have no idea what I am talking about.
Dan Rather and truth in the same sentence now that’s funny.
Redford saved a lot of money by re-arranging his wrinkles he could play a dozen characters.
On the professional side, she was a perfect match for Dan Rather after being fired in Seattle for creating false news stories to push her personal liberal agenda.
“but why so long?”
For years I have been reading spelling-error posts, grammar-error posts, punctuation-error posts and ‘already-posted-here’ posts along with ‘zot’ posts I actually shortened the handle. I could not fit ‘already-posted-here’ and ‘zot’ in the handle. ;-)
“but why so long?”
Oh! I forgot the ‘you-ended-the-sentence-with-a- preposition’ posts! LOL
That's easy! Karl Rove, of course!
Theres no necessity to ban prepositions from the end of sentences. Ending a sentence with a preposition is a perfectly natural part of the structure of modern English.
