I imagine all suspects have access to Civilian Radar. Whomever did this knew this was a civilian liner.
A plane flying at 33,000 feet rules out anything but a military weapon—not shoulder fired. And there is a daily flight from Amsterdam to KL using the exact same route. Why today and not some other day?
