Texas Sen. Ted Cruz confirmed Thursday that he will be joining Glenn Beck and Mercury One at the border in McAllen, Texas, on Saturday to feed, clothe, and provide toys for illegal immigrant children.
Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for the senator, told TheBlaze in an email: “Tens of thousands of children are being smuggled into the United States by dangerous drug cartels and transnational gangs – it is heartless to allow that to continue.”
“But while we work to reverse the policies that have caused this tragedy, it is important we recognize the human element of this crisis, and Sen. Cruz is glad to join Glenn Beck and Mercury One in that effort to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing,” Frazier continued.

I support Sanctuary households, Santctuaty churches, and Santuary firms. Voluntary sponsors of refugees from other countries, that’s fine. If people want to cover the education, health and other expenses voluntarily, that’s fine. Did I mention the word ‘Voluntary.’
No DREAM Act (forced subsidies), No sanctuary “”cities”, No State mandated welfare assistance or other govt.-financed support!!

Here’s the problem with blaming Ted Cruz... IT’s NOT HIS JOB TO DEPORT.
He can only sponsor legislation.
The one who has power to deport won’t do it.
So, in the meantime, now that the kids are here... what do you do?

Why would kids under federal control inside the United States, starve?
...and, by the way, Cruz and Becks efforts will encourage more kids to come and more will die along the way. All these people are sick.
Who is doing one thing to stop the influx?
Who is standing at the border, the airports, the bus stations blocking them from being moved about the country?
If not an elected official, then who?? This is a long planned, orchestrated invasion. Bids went out for government contract months- years ago....and not one Senator or Rep knew about it??
We’re bleeding out, here. Handing out toys and meals isn’t fixing anything.
So why shouldn’t every single sick child on the planet be sent here, be nursed back to health (who is paying again?), and sent home? ANY encouragement at all (what Cruz is doing) will encourage more parents to send their kids here using your and Cruz’ logic.
RE: Ted Cruz is okay with letting illegals stay permanently (and presumably work cheap and take American jobs. Did I mention his wife is a vice president at Goldman Sachs). He just doesn’t want citizenship.
Well, if this is his policy, then I am against him.
I personally have no problem with him PERSONALLY trying to help these kids while they are here.
I have a problem with them not being deported.
The best move is :
1) Give them food to eat and a place to sleep while they are here. BUT THEY REMAIN INCARCERATED.
2) Give them medical attention if they are sick (otherwise contagious diseases might spread ).
3) Accelerate a plan to SEND THEM HOME ASAP.
My thoughts too. I like Cruz a lot and think he should not have anything to do with Beck.
