The Hamas leadership started packing up and leaving Syria when the fight against Assad began. They tried to set up shop in Egypt, and then in Turkey. Now Turkey hosts Hamas in their country and is allied with Qatar, with Qatar being the prime sponsor of Hamas. But, Hamas is more isolated today than it ever has been before!

Gulf emirate is branded the villain behind Hamas belligerence, with PM’s former security adviser saying it funds tunnel diggers and rocket launchers.

President Shimon Peres accused Qatar on Wednesday of becoming “the world’s largest funder of terror” due to its financial support for Hamas in Gaza.

“Qatar does not have the right to send money for rockets and tunnels which are fired at innocent civilians,” the outgoing statesman told UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in Jerusalem. “Their funding of terror must stop. If they want to build then they should, but they must not be allowed to destroy.”

Qatar’s recently attempted to transfer funds for the salaries of Hamas civil servants in Gaza, following the formation of a Palestinian unity government, but was blocked by the United States, which pressured the Arab Bank not to process them. But former national security adviser Maj. Gen. (res) Yaakov Amidror told The Times of Israel that the emirate’s funding for the organization’s terror apparatus, including tunnel diggers and rocket launchers, has continued unabated.

Hamas is not as important as they once thought they were...there much more serious contenders in the region at the moment, ISIS, that is threatening the whole of Iraq, then Iran, and into Saudi Arabia....these backwards idiots that run around as members of Hamas are now finding out the truth about Islam - and it has nothing to do with loyalty - but who can control what! At the moment, the one with the most violent tenacity is garnering all the attention, which again, is ISIS - or the self appointed Caliphate. Best of Luck Middle East - this is what you wanted and now someone has stepped up to push that very agenda - you got exactly what you wanted since the Ottoman Empire was dismantled!

Hardly in vain, the UN is all-in.

Here we see Haaretz carrying water for Hamas sponsor Obama and for Iran. After years of support, Iran cut Hamas off when Hamas (quite rightly) dumped the mass-murderer and Iranian ally Assad. Morsi was an ally of Iran, and started up the Hamas gravy train (money that ultimately came from Qatar; nearly alone among the Gulf States, Qatar supported the overthrow of Iran’s arch-enemy, Saddam Hussein), and while Assad exulted in Morsi’s overthrow, Iran pissed and moaned about it. Thanks ST.
