COLUMBIA, SC Onetime Republican Thomas Ravenel officially is running for the U.S. Senate again, this time as a petition candidate.
The S.C. Election Commission certified the 10,000 signatures required for the former S.C. treasurer and reality TV star to be on the ballot in November as a challenger for the seat held by U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

Always the candidate's fault, eh? Not always; a good illustration of where it was would be Romney `12.

Welcome to FR. You seem to be republican, no matter how liberal the candidate.
I’m working hard to politically destroy liberal republicans.

There is no way I am going to vote for Graham or Ravenel or Hutto. I just went to Hutto’s web site to see his views and he is lock step with obama on almost every issue. Maybe I’ll just leave this one blank.

Are you hoping to vote for him again in 2016?
To: El Zoro
I did not vote for Graham but I will certainly not vote for a Coke Head or Democrat.
Sure you would.

Except for the 10 months before an election every six years, Graham is also.
(Have you bought into Graham's TV routine?)

I’m going to enjoy voting against Graham, no matter who it is. I’m so sick of the phone calls from the SC GOP who are just Democrats in elephant hide...

It's his fault because he's essentially indistinguishable from Obama WRT politics.

I most certainly did misunderstand.
In addition, I say it was the GOPe's fault for following Romney's money trail and hired guns rather than letting the people have a fair chance to select the R Presidential nominee. Dang fouled-up party!

How can anyone run left of Graham? Once the primary was lost, SC has no choice but to vote for a democrat. Some of the democrats running are running under the label of republican or independent, but they will vote like a democrat no matter what.

Can Ravenel actually win?
IOW, Lo-Info voters are not the sole property of the Democrat Party. What about turnout? Is Ravenel any good? If Ravenel loses, will you people shell Fort Sumpter and secede again?
Looks like we are going to officially enter the turbulent era of a Three Party System. Hope it ain't too painful.
Go Ravenel!

So about this Ravenel's criminal record. Doesn't seem all that bad compared to the Clinton Coke thing, The Obama Crack Habit, which I greatly fear is still with him, and it is over, right?

It’s more than that. Thomas Ravenel is one of the stars of the Bravo channel’s “Southern Charm”, a reality show. He knocked up a 22 year old fellow cast member, who gave birth to a daughter. This guy is over 50.
