Tiffany Mitchell On Witnessing Michael Brown Shooting: Police 'Showed No Kind Of Remorse'
The Huffington Post ^ | August 14, 2014 | Paige Lavender

Posted on 08/14/2014 4:59:53 AM PDT by Uncle Chip

Tiffany Mitchell, a woman who says she witnessed a police officer shoot and kill Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, shared her story during an appearance on CNN with her attorney Wednesday night.

Mitchell said she was driving when she saw Brown trying to pull away from an officer as the two were "tussling through a window."

She said she had hoped to get a video because the incident "just didn't look right," but failed to get her camera out in time.

"I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I knew it didn't look right for someone to be wrestling with the police through the police window, but I didn't get a video because a shot was fired through the window, so I tried to get out of the way," Mitchell said.

Mitchell then described what she saw happen between Brown and the police officer.

"As I pull onto the side, the kid, he finally gets away, he starts running. As he runs the police get out of his vehicle and he follows behind him, shooting," Mitchell said.

"And the kid's body jerked as if he was hit from behind, and he turns around and puts his hands up like this, and the cop continued to fire until he just dropped down to the ground and his face just smacks the concrete."

Mitchell clarified she heard a shot after she saw Brown trying to pull away from the cop, and said even after Brown turned to face the cop and put his hands in the air, "the cop continued to come up on him and shoot him until he fell down to the ground."

She said she counted "more than about five or six shots."

Kind of a common name I would think.

Witnesses say that the cop initiated the physical contact by reaching out the window with his left arm and grabbing the kid by the neck.

The kid then tried to get the cop’s hands off of him and back away — hence the tussle at the window.

My scenario has just at much evidence to back it up as yours.

And what evidence would that be???

Post it --

I’d also suspect the autopsy would be crucial. If the cop, only fired one shot while Brown was allegedly attacking him, there should only be one wound with powder residue. If, OTOH, there are several wounds, some from the back and some from the front, then this witness’ story will be corroborated and the cop will be in deep trouble. One thing for sure, it’s not a Martin/Zimmerman case where all the accurate evidence did nothing but exonerate Zimmerman. At best, the whole thing is very problematic for the cop.

Wrestling through the police window?

Here's how the police SUV window came into play, according to an accumulation of 'eyewitness' testimony, whether true or not. Uncle Chip can vouch that I've written about this before on FR.

If true, Michael Brown was never in the police SUV.

When the police officer put his SUV in reverse and drove back at Brown and his friend, he drove up right along their side. I don't know what words were exchanged, but the officer shoved his SUV door open and tried to rapidly exit the SUV.

The SUV door struck Brown and bounced back (perhaps with Brown's assistance, but I'm only speculating), striking the officer.

The officer drew his service weapon with one hand, lunged through the open window, wrapped the other arm around Brown's neck, and pulled him back toward the SUV. During the struggle with Brown outside the police SUV and the officer half-in and half-out, the officer accidentally discharged the firearm.

Is that true? I don't know.

Was this before or after he was fighting with the officer through the cruiser window/door.

It was a fraud, pulled from a blog.

Possibly so, but let’s not just say the cop “is in the wrong.” There’s a lot of evidence yet to come in, but it definitely looks bad for him now.

This man, the 18 year-old was over 6 feet. Unless the man was leaning into the window of the cop car, how does a cop grab a guy by the neck while he’s still in the car? I would think that a cop would be dumber than dumb to instigate or escalate a confrontation while sitting in a seat, relatively trapped in a car. It’s kind of squishy in the front seat. This doesn’t make sense. Nor does opening a door of his car to purposely whack someone with the door. The cop grabbing the neck while in the car only makes sense to me if the 18 year-old was reaching in to punch or get in the face of the cop.

Where he was shot was not that kind of neighborhood.

Most of the blacks in Ferguson moved there from the city to get away from the bad elements in the bad neighborhoods.

Look at the pictures and you can tell that it’s a nice neighborhood.

The bad element in that neighborhood that day was the one wearing a badge —

Will need to wait for all of the facts to come out, assuming they ever do. In the past, I use to reflexively side with the police. These days, not so much.

Funny...I live in one of “those neighborhoods”....but then again...I park my motorcycle on my front sidewalk....clean my guns on my front porch...and the punks around here call me sir cuz they all know I carry a hand cannon.....I look them right in the eye and smile with body language that says “get off my lawn”.....

Smile...be polite...have a plan to kill everyone you encounter...

As I said and you admitted, my scenario has just as much evidence as the one you posited.

You want to hang the cop and whatever scenario allows you to do that is the one you accept.

That fact that Eric Holder has done nothing speaks volumes, because that racist SOB would trump up charges in a heartbeat if he could.

The facts are coming out right now — a little bit everyday.

What’s to wait for — a final report issued by the Police Department as in the Andy Lopez case aka Whitewash in Santa Rosa???
