You’re right. He should have never tried to go through the primaries in 1212 after the back surgery that had him so heavily medicated. They will use sound bites and video to drive him down.

The left view Rick Perry as a formidable opponent in a Presidential Election. This is all about the next Election in two years.

Travis county is left liberal to the core. The counties around Travis are very conservative. They are conservative because the conservatives left Travis County.

This is a rerun of the legal lynching of Tom DeLay.

It should be noted that in the end Tom DeLay was cleared of all charges. However, the left did achieve their objective in destroying Tom DeLay. It took years for Tom DeLay to clear his name and untold dollars. The local district attorney knew the charges would not stick in the end. He also knew, that he could destroy Tom DeLay with the charges and the years of litigation.

The district attorneys office in Travis County is a rabid attack dog for the DemonicRat party.

When is Obama going to rot in jail for threatening to fire any military leaders who opposed gays in the military?

And if threatening a veto is a crime...

Concur. I think he is a good man and would make an above average president but I do not see him breaking through.

Imagine if I were to visit only Austin, and no where else in Texas, and come to the conclusion that the entire state of Texas was Liberal based on that.

Excellent point. Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are liberal strongholds, but they do not represent the rest of Texas.

Thanks.

PS I have spent a lot of time in Texas dating back to the early 1960s (especially East Texas) and have family there. I know that it is not Liberal. My wife’s great-grandparents settled in Texas in the 1840s.
