The wack-a-doodles like Castro in San Antonio are too busy asking him to resign.
March 28, 2014: Gov. Jerry Brown Calls For Resignation Of Sens. Yee, Calderon, Wright
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) The California Senate voted Friday to suspend three lawmakers caught up in separate criminal cases after the latest one to be hauled into court refused to step down, the most serious house-cleaning action the chamber has taken in more than a century.Fridays 28-1 vote in the 40-member chamber came amid one of the most severe ethical crises in modern times for the Legislature in the nations most populous state.
In response to Fridays vote, Gov. Jerry Brown called on all three lawmakers to resign.
Given the extraordinary circumstances of these cases and todays unprecedented suspensions the best way to restore public confidence is for these Senators to resign, Brown said in a statement late Friday.

Seems to me they’ve finally overreached here.
But it’s never wise to underestimate the power of MSM to spin outrageous progressive conduct.
BTW, doesn’t Texas have anything similar to a special prosecutor to investigate such outrageous conduct in a nonpartisan way? If it were up to me, I’d have the whole thing investigated and exposed to the light of public scrutiny, including actions by both the DA and the Gov.
Why doesn't someone file an ethics complaint with the state licensing board to revoke her law license. This is a clear abuse of power.
Sure... That's step #2 in the script. With them, it's all about the seriousness of the charge, not the veracity. After the charge is filed, then come the "urgings" to step down... "for the good of the people," you know...
This is why liberals simply cannot be considered American. They don't think, act or speak like Americans. Their practices are naturally underhanded.. the stuff of third-world banana republics.
A liberal's pukeworthiness rivals that of muslims and child molesters.
If they’ve been expelled by the Senate, isn’t resignation kind of irrelevant?
That' the late Jack Kemp's old line. Didn't work for him either

This is Chicago style politics on the front burner. Its exactly how Obama got his state senate seat, by destroying his opposing candidate.
In order to support a democrat one has to overlook, accept, or encourage corruption and evil. How can a person who does this ever be “honorable.” I would say that less than 1 in 10,000 rats are even slightly disturbed by an attempt to criminalize political opposition.
Oh, they're outraged all right. They're outraged that Fox News should be allowed to broadcast. They're outraged that a governor should exercise his veto power. They're outraged 6'4" black punk was shot and killed after committing a robbery and assaulting an officer. Their outrage never ends. That's why I don't have any "Democratic" friends. I just don't swing that way anymore.
Yes, it is called the Public Integrity Unit; it is led by the Travis County DA. (Travis County is the county in which the state capital Austin is located.) So the unit in charge of investigating criminal or unethical behavior by state officials is run by this corrupt DA. That is why Perry vetoed the funding for the unit. The former DA of Travis County -- Ronnie Earle -- is the asshat who filed trumped up BS charges against Congressman Tom Delay and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. In Delay's case, EVEN THOUGH it was later thrown out and he was completely exonerated, he was forced by GOP House Rules to step down from his leadership positions. It seemed impossible to even imagine anothre DA in that position more corrupt and despicable and reprehensible than Ronnie Earle, but the democrats managed to accomplish that in short order with this piece of work. It is definitely time to take the PIU completely out of the hands of the Travis County political slime machine.
As VRWCmember noted, it’s the Travis County DA that has that authority, presumably because that’s the jurisdiction that includes the state capitol.
Here’s hoping that this escapade backfires on the ‘rats not only in that the attack on Perry fails, but also in that it generates enough outrage to strip this dangerous power out of the hands of partisan hacks in Austin.
I’m not a Rick Perry fan. I didn’t want him running for Pres last time, not crazy about him running this next time but this indictment is entirely BOGUS!
and for it to keep him from running for President in the future is totally wrong.
He did nothing wrong, she did! Rick Perry didn’t pour the liquor down her throat. She should have been honorable enough to resign when she got caught.
But then what am I saying? (slaps forehead) “honorable” isn’t in the democrat’s vocabulary ... EVER!
The difference between the tactics of the modern liberal and the worst governments/groups in history, nazis, maoists, stalinists etc. are starting to become indistuinguishable.
There are no honorable Democrats.
IMHO
Of course not
Oh, David, David. How confused you are. To start with “Every Honorable Citizen” and then wax poetic about your “Democratic friends”?
Wake up, sir. Inhale the java.
And what are they gonna do if he doesn’t?
