They've lined the streets with police in riot gear, brought in a new black commander with an empathetic manner, imposed a curfew, lifted it and deployed the National Guard — and still the violence erupts nightly in the town of Ferguson, Missouri.
After more than a week of unrest following the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed black 18-year-old, law enforcement and political leaders are left struggling for answers to a frustrating question: What can we do to restore peace to the community?

Michael Brown was armed with his fists, feet and size. Otherwise how did Officer Wilson receive an injury that broke the orbital socket in his face?
With that said, the "authorities" - and race baiters and agitators - don't want the looting and rioting stopped.
That's why they keep fanning the flames.
Nothing soothes the heartache from the loss of a beloved local thug as well as a trunk full of looted electronics and basketball shoes.
Midnight basketball- problem solved.
Round up all locals with outstanding warrants.
Enforce a curfew.
Encourage protestors to visit City Hall and City Council Meetings.
Provide free u-haul rentals.
Double yellow paint needs to go OVER the Thug.

Was Brown a registered voter?
How about a black highway patrol chief apologizing for the police, marching with them and offering his son as a wanna be thug to show that they should cooperate with him because he sides with them?
There’s a woman who was walking around with a gallon of milk last night to wash out the eyes of those who were stung by the tear gas.
Unless they get splintered into St Louis, I don’t see this quelling, unless something else happens and takes them off the lead to the news.
Meanwhile, white kids in other cities holding signs of solidary about perceived race inequality will keep this simmering as the next “ aren’t we the coolest generation” act.

Didn’t the late great Godfather of Soul, James Brown, once quell a riot?
My husband said he remembers back in the 1990s when they had the riots after the Rodney King episode, that the Governor of California declared that all government checks would cease to be sent out if the riots didn’t stop, and they did, according to my husband’s memory.
My own take is if the media would go home, and there wouldn’t be any cameras to play to, they would stop.
