They opened the borders and left them open
and then sent the infected lured “immigrants”
by airplanes and buses into cities.

No public records.

Some have been very sick costing states (where
they can control the imported diseases) MILLIONS.

It previously was unclear how, or why, the cities
were selected.

Import active, oozing Ebola patients, treat them until they recover from their overt symptoms, release them to the general public while they still have active virus in their bodily fluids.

Clamp down on the rest of us.

I wonder if a certain FReeper still thinks bringing people with active, bloody Ebola cases into the USofA is a great idea?

How about an executive order to deal with this especially pernicious form of pestilence

Unless I’m missing something this applies only to respiratory diseases, and that would exclude Ebola at this time.

Well....That's all well and good, but.......

“(b) Severe acute respiratory syndromes, which are diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled. This subsection does not apply to influenza.”

Ebola (human strain) is not a respiratory illness.

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

NEW Stigma Key Messages

West Africans in the United States and elsewhere may face stigmatization (stigma) during the current Ebola outbreak because the outbreak is associated with a region of the world.

Stigma involves stereotyping and discriminating against an identifiable group of people, a product, an animal, a place, or a nation.

Stigma can occur when people associate an infectious disease, such as Ebola, with a population, even though not everyone in that population or from that region is specifically at risk for the disease (for example, West Africans living in the United States).

Stigma occurred among Asian Americans in the United States during the SARS pandemic in 2003.

Communicators and public health officials can help counter stigma during the Ebola response.

Communicate early the risk or lack of risk from associations with products, people, and places.

Raise awareness of the potential problem.

Counter stigmatization with accurate risk information about how the virus spreads.

Speak out against negative behaviors.

Be cautious about the images that are shared. Make sure they do not reinforce stereotypes.

Model good behaviors; engage with stigmatized groups in person and through social media.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protects people’s health and safety by preventing and controlling diseases and injuries; enhances health decisions by providing credible information on critical health issues; and promotes healthy living through strong partnerships with local, national and international organizations.

I would expect any President to do this.

It makes sense.

I always thought Alex Jones was a nut but he is looking less crazy by the day. Imagine an Ebola infected illegal African immigrant hiding out in a majority black city. The disease spreads. Who do you think gets the blame? What would the Obama administration do?

Remember those FEMA camps?

That’s crazy talk.

Knowing the government’s high level of stupidity, it would be too much to expect them to provide quarantined people with food and water.

Sounds like this was written to cover antibiotic resistant TB, which is coming in with illegals. TB does not make you sick for a long time after you get it, many will not get treatment or follow treatment for this reason. Several cases of antibiotic resistant TB were diagnosed in the recent wave of illegals. At least one illegal refused treatment and ran off, was later found and arrested to force treatment. I am convinced the number of cases of illegals with positive TB is much higher than reported.
