Here’s how it works: it doesn’t really exist because as the author says, there is no or badly shrinking benefit therefrom, but that’s an unfortunate delusion for those so afflicted. See, there’s nothing delusional about saying that something that does not exist actually DOES exist, because that allows a magazine article that self-assumes that the writer is so smart and perceptive that he can see stuff that doesn’t exist but claim that it actually DOES exist! Especially if there’s no evidence that it exists!

I wish I knew just what this “white privilege” was supposed to involve, I would have taken advantage of it long ago.

I have wound up on the wrong side of “affirmative action” several times, so maybe I HAD been given some kind of pass for years leading up to those incidents, but it sure didn’t feel like at the time.
