They should show this video in the hood to prove that even white boys get they azz beat by the Po-lice. BTW, have cops gotten smaller or are perps getting bigger?

The accused appears to be a tall WHITE man so twenty blows to the head are obviously par for the course. There will be no call for looting, rioting, burning buildings etc. On the other hand if he were a little darker skinned it would be an entirely different matter. The deputy must not have much of a punch, the man was still able to walk after being hit so many times.

Of course, being white, he should automatically be assumed guilty of racism so that alone should exempt the authorities from any suspicion of excessive force. He is in South Carolina so he probably fired on Fort Sumter and should be blamed for starting the War Between the States. He may have even voted for Herman Cain in the South Carolina Repubican primary election, that alone should get him a life sentence at hard labor or even a night with a girl from Greeleyville.

I will bet ten dollars against a stale doughnut that he DID NOT steal any Swisher products from a man half his size shortly before this beatdown.

My thought was, “that guy punches like my sister.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I was never blessed to have a sister but my mother at age forty could have swapped punches with that cop and knocked him down. No, I am NOT exaggerating.

Let’s be honest. If he didn’t want to get punched in the head, he shouldn’t have been wearing that head.

Null, I’m not really sure they’re supposed to beat them twenty times even if sassed. Oh I know the boot lickers will say so, but I actually think they are not supposed to. Imagine that!

When does getting beat to stop resisting, become Oh my God...I have to get away from this nutcase beating my head in?

This is where I have the issue...when the stop becomes full on assault. They beat him and tasered him for ...resisting? I’d want to get away from these nutjob cops too.

At what point does this become anti-cop bigotry, a smear against every cop in America? I know cops. They’re good people, not perfect people. Nonetheless they rarely if ever have used their gun, let alone hit anyone.

Not all cops are bad. Let’s remove the bad ones, specifically and selectively, like they do in a republic, you know, one with the rule of law. Part of that is ending sovereign immunity, fine.

Reason is going well beyond reason in this.

You’re right of course and it would appear from the scene where he is back on his feet and towering over the officers that he was guilty of wearing that head at too high an altitude. I am six four and that guy HAS TO BE taller than I am judging from the video. If the officers are not rather short then he may be an actual giant as defined as someone over six feet and six inches.

He needed to check his height privilege. Bowing, perhaps?

Yea it’s like every instinct we have as humans must be suspended while cops do their thing.

If that happens to be smashing your face in then well you better be still and take it until they feel like being done.

It’s ridiculous and should not be accepted in “the land of the free”.

More proof of “white privilege” in this country.

http://freedominourtime.blogspot.com/2014/02/support-your-local-slave-keeper.html

An excerpt:

From the cop’s perspective, the expression “law-abiding citizen” is a functional synonym for “Properly obedient slave.” Not only did the uppity Mundane refuse to submit, he actually behaved as if he was the rightful owner of his person and property: “It was almost like he had the attitude of you – you cannot tell me what to do with my gun in my, you know, in my castle.”

Slave-keepers don’t have to ask permission to invade the servants’ quarters, and slaves have no right to protect the sanctity of their person or effects. In his study of 18th Century slave patrols – the largely unacknowledged ancestors of today’s “professional” police agencies — historian Philip L. Reichel points out that “patrols had full power and authority to enter any plantation and break open Negro houses or other places where slaves were suspected of keeping arms; to punish runaways or slaves found outside of their masters’ plantations without a pass; [and] to whip any slave who should affront or abuse them in the execution of their duties….”

No-knock midnight raids; gun confiscation; “stop-and-frisk”-style demands for identification that quickly escalate to violence and arrest; summary punishment for “contempt of cop” – all of these practices would be immediately recognizable to 18th century slaves. They would probably find it incomprehensible that people who consider themselves to be free would allow such practices to continue.
