Some day a victim's parent or spouse will come around the corner and, fearing for the life of the victim, exercise the 2nd Amendment.

Once acquitted by a jury, this LEO behavior might finally stop.

I was just making a sarcastic point about the officers punches...they were very weak except for one that connected to which the guy on the ground said ..”owww”.

I don’t what attitude the guy was in....could have been in a diabetic fit, for all I know.

And yeah, I get the pain thing. I have a high tolerance myself...I have to walk around with two bad hips (necrotic) and add to that two more knees that are just as bad..and I do it without anything stronger than Ibuprophen..

I think it’s pretty much standard practice to for cops to wail on drunks or druggies. But they usually do it at the station.

Cut the local PD budgets, and that day will never have to happen, and the cop can stay at home, safe, with his family, unpaid by the government.

I would prefer that there be no more killings or beatings, by anyone.

Not going to happen, but I really would prefer that I don't, as a taxpayer, pay for it. On either end. On any end.

I just looked at the standard job description. I don't see that anywhere.

Is it me or did the one eye witness have the Worlds’ worst toupee?

Well... crisis actors don't get paid all that much.

Shouldn’t: “Of course, I have a meat-eating lawyer on speed-dial (thanks, ex-wives), so I’m not low-hanging fruit.”

be: “Of course, I have a raw-meat-eating lawyer on speed-dial (thanks, ex-wives), so I’m not low-hanging fruit.”

The man got up and walked away.

AS planned. Decent performance. The public bought it, anyway.

Even in my backwards little podunk town, the Federal beast has hooked the locals with “free money” from Washington in exchange for obedience.

They do not care if there are strings attached. They like the money and use it to beguile the locals into embracing the suck of tyranny.

Money talks - principles walk - in today’s Amerika. No one wants to hear it.

All they respond to is money and whomever is handing it out - get’s their loyalty and support.

It’s a lost cause - even out here.

My dad worked in a maximum security prison. If violence was needed to deal with an inmate, it's a losing situation for all. When left with no choice, it was only momentary and completely incapacitating without a sound. Once you are making a public spectacle of the situation with violence, it only serves to breed more violence and a disrespect from the general population.

Policing in a free society is not easy unless the police you are training are extremely smart and patient. Unfortunately those people are not accepted in cop schools. They like them gullible and full of temper.

I don't drink and drive. Too much liability. So no.

It's not just law, it's damn good business sense.

But then again, I'm not an Austin, Tx DA.

There was a saying when I was younger, that was actually pretty old even then, that said..”every A-hole you knew in High school likely became a cop.”

Now I’m not sayin it is totally true, but you have to give it some credence.

It's only a lost cause if I turn tail and run.

Until then, the fight is on.

Bend the ear of your local yokel. The idiots in DC and I don't elect him. You do.

You are the only one that can make a difference there.

Shake his hand, hold onto it a little bit too long, make him remember you. And promise to fire him if he doesn't do what you say.

That should work in most places that aren't Austin, Texas.

Otherwise, you'll get indicted for something.

Sorry to hear that, and hope you are good now. Understand, having been divorced 3 times (so far).

Ain't no woman worth going to gaol over.

And every thug who dropped out of high school - you think they contribute more to society?

Without cops our country would be like tribal Africa. Be careful what you wish for.

Just be careful about the cases you base your judgments upon.

Usually if a case gets national attention, it has been distorted and twisted beyond recognition.

Ask yourself this. Would the government ‘fake’ an incident like this, in order to get the ‘whites’ to get rid of most of the ‘local’ police ?

And why would they want to ? Because then that same public will be on it’s knees demanding the Federal Government ‘police’ their town.

So just be careful. The media is good at twisting an event to suit their purposes (i.e. sell laundry detergent).

At this point, just eating meat is enough to scare most of the bar away.

It doesn't even have to be raw.
