Am I missing something? Isn’t it a good thing that regional powers, supposedly allies, are stepping up without micromanagement from DC?

Obama would have just advised caution and shot some hoops.

If he’s as upset about that as he was about Foley being beheaded, it’s likely to cost him a stroke on the golf course, maybe even two.

The USA is no longer a Player on the International Stage.

What an inept administration. Not only does Obama spy on our allies, he sucks at it.

Yeah, I don’t believe this for one minute.

Barry hasn’t bolluxed everything on international affairs and it would be in our best interest if Arab Moslems played Whack-A-Mole for a while.

At least reserving any American escalation for the next administration.

Gotta be all hopey changey and a Nobel Peace Man...

“The US was caught by surprise”

Well, if those countries would pre-announce all their military plans in the media, then Obama might not be so uninformed. What do they all expect him to do.. attend an intel briefing? Jeeeze... /s

Had they been stupid enough to trust the District of Corruption about the air raids President Jarrett would have instantly double crossed them.

What is in the ME is a Moslem Civil War. If the ISIS folks win it then it is a World War and ISIS/Islam will rampage through Africa and Europe before America will decide that it is at War.

Some observers note that both the UAE and Egypt appear to be doing more to combat the rise of Islamist extremism than the United States.

Unbelievable.

Egypt? Giving Obama the finger? That's no surprise. They've done it before. In the post-Morsi era, Gen al Sisi (now Egyptian president) refused to take Obama's phone call---b/c Obama wanted al Sisi to leave the M/B alone.

Brilliant strategist, al Sisi, proceeded to smash the M/B and throw them out of Egyptian politics....he vowed to rebuild the 65 Christian churches the M/B had torched.

==============================================

POINTS TO PONDER:

<><> The Sharia government of Brunei – whose Sultan has been on the receiving end of Hollywood protesters for his ownership stake in the Beverly Hills Hotel – has made significant contributions to the Clinton Foundation. ...

<><> Brunei’s Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah isn’t the only Muslim fundamentalist with connections to Hillary Clinton or the Clinton Foundation.

<><> As Shoebat.com reported last year, Muslim Brotherhood member Gehad El-Haddad was arrested in Egypt and not only was the Chief of Staff to Khairat al-Shater, who is Deputy Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood there...AT THE SAME TIME El-Haddad was an employee of the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation.

<><> In addition to El-Haddad, Hillary’s very close and longtime aide Huma Abedin is strongly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Abedin’s mother is a leader with the Muslim Sisterhood and one of her co-leaders is the wife of imprisoned former President of Egypt, Mohammed Mursi, who is also a member of Muslim the Brotherhood.

=================================================

It should be remembered that while the Muslim Brotherhood was in charge in Egypt, Obama and Hillary showered them with praise and provided billions of dollars in aid, arms, tanks and planes. Egypt has unceremoniously thrown the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.... and hasn’t forgotten the support offered to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egypt has now charged Obama and Hillary Clinton for conspiring and collaborating with the M/B and advancing their terrorist activities. Hillary's pal, al Haddad, is also sitting in an Egyptian jail (reported by H/T Western Journalism).

So they finally figured out that Obama is not someone you want to share secrets about covert operations with..... unless you want an ambush/setup waiting for you. About damned time.

I’m really fed up with these “teaser” headlines. It started with videos: “You’ll Use Up a Whole Box of Kleenex When You See What This Vet’s Hometown Did for Him,” etc.

Now it has spread everywhere, including news stories. Headlines used to tell you what the story was about. They would even tell you the most important fact in the story. Now they tell you how you’ll feel.

Really late to this party but just wanted to say I see this as a positive.

About time some others with skin in the game took some responsibility.

I expect, however, that Egypt and UAE did give the White House a heads up. About five minutes before bombing began. That way, Washington would have been told, but not have enough time to react.
