Actually they don’t in terms of overall percentages. That will change due to “neighborhood organizers”. Soon there will be a turnover in public officials followed by purges in the civil service ranks, including the cops. In a few years they could well be another Benton Harbor.
That said, anyone who has watched the reports out of Ferguson has to be concerned about a questionable shooting, a chief that changes his story daily, and the lack of following policy, protocol and policy. I don’t support the looters in the least, but without more independent definitive information, it is not a slam dunk that he is a good cop and that this was a valid shooting.
