I suspect King Barry needs to include “official business” in his travel schedule so he can stick the taxpayer with the bill. If a trip is exclusively political, the party has to pay.
So you will notice almost every time he jets off to a round of fundraisers, there will be a brief stop to give a speech at a school or factory, and that’s the “official business” he needs to stick us with the bill.
He’s wasting resources so he can CLAIM he wasn’t on “vacation” by dropping in at the White House for a few hours or avoiding an overnight stay when he is out fundraising.
If there is another President, the first thing he should do, after placing all the conspirators who put an illegal alien in the WH, is sell Air Force One. (Yes, I know any plane the President is on is Air Force One.) There is no reason a President needs to be anywhere but the WH or Camp David. He doesn’t need to do fundraisers, or fly over flood areas, or any of that nonsense.
The other main thing the next President can do, to prove that he “gets it,” is abolish the STFU Speech, and deliver written messages from time to time to Congress.
Saw pictures earlier this morning of the three females in the family dressed in black as they were headed to the wedding... Black for a wedding AND in New York in August??
Gosh, I hope all that wear and tear on AF1 doesn’t cause it malfunction in mid air and crash into a mountain or somethin’.

There are two 747s that are used in the Air Force One role (in addition to the 757s and any other USAF aircraft POTUS happens to be flying in). They’re called VC-25As and they bear tail numbers 28000 and 29000 (when not in use as AF-1 they go by SAM-28000 and SAM-29000, for Special Air Mission). Other than their tail numbers the two aircraft are identical.
It used to be that they always flew together on Presidential missions, with 28000 as primary and 29000 as backup. What people need to be paying attention to is whether that’s still happening and, if its not, how often 29000 is now used as the primary. These aircraft entered service in 1989, so are now 25 years old. If Obama is flying the wings off of them like he seems to be, the USAF is going to take steps to preserve the remaining about of fatigue hours and cycles on them.
Ubama should just drive a darn car, ride a bus, or take a train.
I doubt if the actual hours of flying time on either of the planes that are usually “AF1” approaches that of 747s of the same age in commercial service. Commercial airliners do not make money when they are parked—companies tend to keep them moving.
Any President who cared anything about the taxpayers or about anything other than his own perks would travel the northeast by either helicopter or train. No one would ever consider Obama to have any of those concerns however.
