Actual title before shortening: Home Office researcher who raised alarm over sex abuse in Rotherham more than a decade ago was told to 'never, ever' repeat the allegations

A council researcher who raised the alarm over sex abuse in Rotherham more than a decade ago was threatened and told to 'never, ever' repeat the allegations, it emerged today.

The woman, who was seconded to Rotherham council by the Home Office, compiled a report in 2001 that said most of the perpetrators were Asian men.

But instead of taking action, child protection bosses sent her on a 'diversity course' and tried to sack her.

...sounds like current US policy on Islam, or on black crime.

This is what “hate crime” legislation is all about... suppressing the truth.

If you’re ever threatened against reporting simply send your findings to the following and let them all know that others have received the same report:

2 trusted Senators, Congressman, State officials, news organizations.

So now, apparently, perversion has civil rights.

And you can bet that next all the guilty parties will start an investigation, which, of course, they will personally conduct.

Pervert alert! I guess to arrest perverts means that you are suppressing their civil right to bugger children.

If nothing else can they please drop this Asian men canard? They were overwhelmingly Pakistani and Bangladeshi. Why should Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Laotian et al have to be tarred with this infamy?

The "Asian men" thing is utterly despicable. Not only is it misleading, it is intended to be misleading. It is journalism, as an industry, actively and blatantly misleading the public in order to protect people of a specific group.

It is institutionalized disparate treatment of a certain class of people.

Imagine, just imagine, if this had been a Catholic school and these "Asian men" where white priests. The uproar would be deafening. The press would be unrelenting and the protests would be massive.

But, apparently, some animals are more equal than others.

Pakistanis and Bangladeshis ARE Asian, and that is how they are described in English. If they had been Chinese, etc. the English would have probably used the term "Oriental".

Next, you will be telling the Brits to stop using the word "Boot" for what you might call a 'car trunk'.

It’s not misleading — see post #15. Use an English dictionary before you make such accusations.

I believe his point was that the common factor was that they where all Muslim, whereas not Asians are Muslim. Hence, it is an insult for non Muslim Asians to be grouped in with them.

Obviously, irrational political correctness played the largest role in this cover up of evil. However, another common factor is what was correctly identified as “disdain” towards children who are in the system. It’s not always on this massive of a scale, but kids who end up in foster care here in the US usually have no one to go to bat for them and those who are supposed to protect them really don’t care about their quality of life. I have a special needs brother who my parents adopted out of foster care. For his safety, it got to the point that he needed 24 awake care and was placed in a group home...a group home from hell. Because my parents cared and tried to get him out of this place where he was alternately abused (molested by staff, beat up by other residents) or neglected (sit in your basement bedroom and watch the dozens of porn videos staff rented for you all day)they were public enemy number one to the county. It was years of misery until their lawyer was able to get the county into moving him and then finally he got a different and less cruel social worker. To the previous social worker and guardian (ha!) he simply was worthless and his life didn’t really matter.

Happens all the time. This latest incident in the UK is just one that caught people’s attention because of the massive scale and the cultural clash involved.

Ah, but Britain has large numbers of Indians—I guess they’re also referred to as ‘Asians’. Do they have the same kind of problems (rape, no-go zones, demands for Hindu laws, etc. etc.) from them? Does the average Brit include Indians in his mind when he reads ‘Asian gangs rape hundreds of preteen girls’. I bet not.
