Remembering 9/11 is not enough - We must destroy Radical Islam

Today is the anniversary of the horrific September 11, 2001 attack on America and the God-given freedoms we so cherish. We remember with anger and anguish the nearly 3,000 Americans murdered by Islamic terrorists. We also remember and honor those first responders, many of whom lost their lives trying to save others.

This is also a time to remember the thousands of American soldiers who were killed, wounded or are still suffering, in the ensuing wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and places unknown. We honor those who answered our Nation’s call to Arms. We also remember the sacrifices made by their families.

But this is a time for more than just remembering. This is a time to rekindle the flame of retribution until the threat of Islamic terrorism is wiped from the face of the Earth.

In his speech from the Oval Office, on the evening of the September 11th attack, President George W. Bush proclaimed:

“Today, our nation saw evil — the very worst of human nature — and we responded with the best of America.”

Yet, the evil President Bush spoke about still exists, and in many ways it is getting stronger. Moreover, the internal threat posed by radical Islam is greater than ever. Our government just doesn’t want to admit that the 9/11 attacks and the barbaric massacres committed by ISIS are sanctioned by the Koran’s mandate to wage Jihad (holy war) against non-Muslims.

In December 2005, four years after 9/11, then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace explained to an audience at the National Defense University,

“To talk about how we are going to proceed, we need to understand the nature of the enemy. And clearly, the nature of this enemy is different than any we have faced in the past …. Our enemies had declared war on us years before, but the attacks in New York, in the skies over Pennsylvania and here in Washington, D.C. brought home very clearly to us that we were at war.”

General Pace went on to warn,

“I say you need to get out and read what our enemies [Islamists] have said. Remember Hitler. Remember he wrote Mein Kampf. He said in writing exactly what his plan was, and we collectively ignored that to our great detriment. Now, our enemies have said publicly on film, on the Internet, their goal is to destroy our way of life.”

Islam is a religion of violence:

“[D]ismember [the American] nation, tear them apart…destroy their embassies…shoot down their planes…kill them on land, at sea, and in the air. Kill them wherever you find them.”

Islamic cleric Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman (The Blind Sheikh)

Muslims must “destroy those who follow democracy, and we must take their followers as enemies — hate them and wage a great jihad against them.”

Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi, Palestinian theologian

“The real matter is the extinction of America. And, God willing, it will fall to the ground.”

Taliban leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar

Our government dishonors the memory of those killed in the 9/11 attacks when it refuses to clearly identify those responsible for their deaths:

Numerous Islamic terrorism experts who gave hundreds of presentations on Islam’s true threat to America are now banned from speaking at government counterterrorism classes and conferences. When Muslim U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” killed 13 fellow soldiers and wounded 30 in the Fort Hood massacre, the government called it workplace violence. The FBI purged 876 pages and 392 presentations that were deemed offensive to Islam. The Pentagon ordered all training material used by military professional colleges and combat units scrubbed of any content offensive to Islam.

Ever since 9/11 the Thomas More Law Center has been fighting against the internal threat to our nation posed by Radical Islam. And we will continue to do so.

Please pray for our Armed Forces who stand guard against the threat of Radical Islam, and their families waiting for a their safe return home.

God bless America!

If all else fails

Give me a workable plan....A workable plan...let’s see...Islam is all about murder, mayhem, threats and symbolism (hit the two buildings that epitomize the financial center of Western culture, do it on a day we revere for some obscure reason), so I suggest this as a workable plan. Install a leader with REAL gonads. HAVE HIM CALL all THE LEADERS OF the middle East and tell the “The civilized nations of the world are fed up with your barbarity and we are putting at least three nuclear bombs in the air 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week and 365 days a year. If the West is attacked in ANY way, militarily, financially, or through terrorist actions, we will drop the first on Mecca, no warning. If you don’t rein in your shit, the second goes to Medina. If you need more convincing, Qom sounds ripe to us. Thank you for your rapt attention. You have work to do. Goodbye.” Rids us of millions of them and rids them of their symbolic icons.

OK so you’ve hypothetically destroyed 3 important Islamic cites and hundreds of millions of people.

So far so good .... now ... have you destroyed “radical Islam”?

Did you get rid of the 1/3 of Muslims who are fundamentalists or radicals (the theory of the person I asked for a plan from) and caused the rest and all their descendants to never ever be radical?

I believe could be mitaken) once they were shocked to the core and lost their ‘symbols’, they might be open to entering the civilized world. Reluctantly for a few hundred years, but what the Hey?

OK, how will this be accomplished? Practically speaking.

Why is it you find a workable plan inconceivable when they do not, and indeed have made great strides in accomplishing their goals?

Frankly, I have serious doubts about your abilities and qualifications to evaluate a "practical" plan even if one were presented to you.

Give me a workable plan.

It seems to me a modified version of those used to pacify the Axis powers or the British pacification of India would be perfectly workable.

Was India a threat to Britain?

Ok, I’ll bite, what were the pacification plans?

Was India a threat to Britain?

How is that relevant? The point is the British pacified the Indians in the Indian's own country.

Ok, I’ll bite, what were the pacification plans?

That is an exercise for the student (I.e., YOU).

The broader point is these are both examples of successful pacification of HUGE populations with radically different cultural mores.

Oh by the way ... Pakistan has those too.

You are proof that some people can not be reasoned with.

They probably don't have many of these.

Japan is a country. A country is not an idea.

We are not going to kill Islam. We can keep it at bay, and try to tame it. But we won’t kill it.

OK I researched it and it’s basically what we’ve been (unsuccessfully) doing in Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s also what our generals claimed did not work in Vietnam.

Muslims are many in number and spread over a vast amount of territory from the Philippines, to Malaysia, China and the Mongol steppes and many parts of what was Russia, India Pakistan the middles east and most of north Africa ... and this is not even counting the diaspora over the rest of the globe

We’re going to go into all that area (with our small 250 million population) and basically run all the institutions and sort out their people and isolate the ‘radicals’ from the rest, set up institutions and governments and direct trade?

I don’t think that we can by any stretch of the imagination be considered a practical plan. Even the Chinese with their vastly larger population is not trying anything on that scale.

Yes, we can nuke each other for as long as that lasts .... but they have more people and can make more people faster than we can).

And as another poster here as astutely pointed out, you cannot kill an idea.

Japan is a country. A country is not an idea.

Japan was an oligarchy ruled by an emperor god, quit changing the subject.

The point was the notion that the Emperor was god and all the people were ready to fight to the death rather than surrender was certainly a pretty strong ingrained idea. They didn't have to die, because MacArthur was a wise military governor.

Michael Corleone was full of it when he ducked out of Cuba, it was American money and training that financed Castro's Revolution.

I read a very intelligent post by you on another thread, see if you can bring some of that to this discussion.
