I wish one of these conservatives would swallow their pride and accept a the role as Vice President to a President Cruz. As long as they are vetted and approved by Cruz. Just show a strong ticket right now and go for it.
12+ initial candidates kills us. It lets the ones who are GOPe, that do follow orders, get a candidate that has more combined support than a real conservative candidate.
Please, someone who is a strong conservative, just get behind Cruz now and stop diluting the primary vote.
Rick Santorum isn’t in the game anyway, he was run out of office and has nothing to offer to GOP White House politics, he is just looking for a career.
I have been saying that since 2012. GOPe runs ONE candidate against half a dozen conservative wannabe’s who can not swallow their ego and fight to the bitter end attacking eaach other. When the GOPe candidate wins nomination, many blame the GOPe, whereas the real problem is DIS-UNITY among conservatives.
I am unconvinced that Cruz will run in 2016. Santorum probably is also thinking Cruz won’t run.
