Poll: Americans disapprove of Republican Party
MSNBC ^ | Alicia Maule

Posted on 09/14/2014 12:27:38 AM PDT by jonrick46

A new Washington Post-ABC poll found that 72% of Americans “strongly” disapprove of the Republican party — yet the GOP could still take control of the Senate after the upcoming midterm elections. Those seemingly disparate results likely come from a mixture of voter apathy toward Republicans winning the Senate and a 54% disapproval rating of Barack Obama’s “handling his job.”

The poll was being reported by MSNBC, which already shows their bias in selecting this poll to report upon. Not all polls show the same or even similar findings.

This visceral hatred displayed by certain segments of the public toward the Republicans as a minority, is no different than the perceived prejudice against specific ethnic groups in the territory once known as “the United States of America”. It is as if someone were to perpetuate a “hate crime” against a racial minority, or a religion.

More than most other demographics, Republicans as a whole are the kind of citizens that were once held up as paragons of the communities in which they resided. In the general rush to deconstruct all the history and tradition of that entity known as “the United States of America”, the Republicans were among the first to be attacked and portrayed as “negative” influences on the “New World Order” way of thinking.

Some people who were ostensibly “Republican” succumbed to the dark side, and have openly turned about and attacked their “fellow” Republicans, but this is a false-flag action.

Republican ranks have been infiltrated by operatives who do not WANT to see the Republicans succeed as a viable alternative to the huge gravitational field that is state tyranny and centralized government, and these operatives work with great effort to stall out and deflect any attempt to draw a sharp contrast between the politics as it is now practiced, and a return to the basics principles upon which the nation was founded. History is being rewritten even now, and every day, to deny that there was ever a virtuous and ethical basis for the ideal that was “the United States of America”, that American exceptionalism does not exist and never did.

Nill illigitimi carborundum, or more commonly, Illegitimi non carborundum, is a mock-Latin aphorism meaning “Don’t let the bastards grind you down”.

And that is cold-rolled, case-hardened, tungsten-vanadium-molybdenum, nickel-plated alloy steel to you, all you progressives out there.

All this poll means is 2.8 MSNBC viewers are Republicans.

Probably so. I even stopped watching FOX for the most part. When they have Rivero on as being a Republican it says a lot as to the agenda there as well. FOX News is basically Rove/McCain news Network.

If I were polled I’d say I strongly disapprove of the Republican party too... GOPe in particular... I call myself a conservative, not a Republican. If Republicans want me back they’re going to have to earn it and at this point I don’t expect that to happen.

I voted DEM last U.S. Senate General Election instead of YOUR Parties Beloved LaModerate Alexander. WHY? Because the Dem was far more Conservative including Pro-Life Pro-Second. Dems sued to try and get the guy off their ticket.

Correction: I voted DEM last U.S. Senate General Election instead of YOUR Parties Beloved Bob Pork Dems Best Buddy Corker. WHY? Because the Dem, Mark Clayton was far more Conservative including Pro-Life Pro-Second. Dems sued to try and get the guy off their ticket. I had no problem whatsoever supporting him nor should any conservative had any problems doing such. I will not vote for Alexander in the November General Election. I will vote Independent. If Alexander looses? Good!!!!!

One of Obama’s innovations is incessant propaganda against the GOP as bad people (as opposed to good people with bad ideas).

“My good friend across the aisle” is an old US political tradition. Obama doesn’t have any friends.

I voted DEM last U.S. Senate General Election instead of YOUR Parties Beloved LaModerate Alexander.

Whatever.

Majority Leader Dingy Harry Reid congratulates you on your principled commitment to Social Progress!

Lamar's a jerk, to be sure, but you voted to make it more difficult for the likes of Ted Cruz to advance the cause in the Senate.

The “Republicans” will come out fighting their conservative base. I recently changed my registration for that reason.

I dont agree.

Its over. Its just going to take a while. Blame GHW Bush and his bullying wife, Barbara Grandma Kennedy Bush. He squandered the Reagan legacy. The rest of them were just followers.

The GOP just needs to start handing out free contraceptives, grant amnesty to millions of illegals, pay reparations to black Americans, evolve on homosexual marriage, and raise taxes on millionaires, billionaires, and football players.

Majority Leader Dingy Harry Reid congratulates you on your principled commitment to Social Progress!

Reid couldn't do squat without the help of about Ten of YOUR RINO-E Friends enabling him.

I know a whole lot more about Alexander than you ever did. He has pushed DEM agendas since his days as governor of my state. If not for a previous Felon governor you would have likely never heard his name. Alexander's rise to political power came from the fact as governor he replaced a felon another soon to be U.S. Senator Fred Thompson had taken down on Clemency for Cash. Alexander is only on Alexander's bank accounts side. Money and power is the legacy of his career. He has supported such things in the past as a state income tax, an internet tax etc etc. As for his conservatism? Name me any major university presidents who were/are Conservative. Yea he did that also. He's an old recycled Poppy Bush friend of which had the GW Bush administration not endorsed him over CONSERVATIVES we would not have had him as a senator but rather a Conservative instead.

Before Thompson had barely uttered the words he was retiring the "W" White House said here's the party choice. IOW WH endorsement before anyone else had time to think. The least Bush could have done was stay out of primaries because in not doing so he did the DEMs work for them pushing his beloved GOP-E and caused many a Conservative their chance. Oh and let's not forget Rove's hand in the messes either. Rove is an example of everything wrong in the GOP. Therefore when he says one thing I know to do opposite by instinct.

Lamar is more than a Jerk. Usually I don't give much attention to The Skeleton Closet info but the things posted about him were local newspapers finding of at the time of both Conservative and DEM leaning local media.

My guess is you'll only find a couple of Freepers from Tennessee who will vote for Alexander and one or two would vote for George McGovern if he was a Republican. The rest know better. Memphis and Nashville DEMs put Alexander on the GOP ticket this time because the state GOP refuses to close the Primaries.

but you voted to make it more difficult for the likes of Ted Cruz to advance the cause in the Senate.

And with that comment you proved to all you have no clue as to what you are even talking about. Alexander's worst nightmare is Ted Cruz and Alexander has not lifted one finger to support Cruz on any major issue. Nice try though LOL. If Cruz tried to do something like Oh let's say take a stand against Harry Reid, Alexander will be there with McCain, Corker, Graham, and other RINO's to undermine him and reach out to Harry. I'm surprised you even posted such nonsense and rubbish.

The panic is apparent as the propagandists scurry about to create some condition that might reverse the doom coming in early November.

Remember, MSNBC really isn’t. There are virtually no viewers. More may learn of the poll from reading this thread than see it on TV.

It’s accurate, but probably 80% of that 72% thinks even less of the Democrats and they will vote out Democrats in November

That’s true - while 72% disapprove of Republicans, 99.9% of Americans don’t know what MSNBC is.

“One could say the Republicans suck less.”

That should be the headline on the story:

“Republicans Suck Less than Democrats, Poll Finds”

MSNBC can do pols that puts them in the most trusted of MSM establishments too.

They fail to tell us that all of the Libs hate the Repubs because they're not Dims and even the most left of them are way too far Right for their tastes. Half the Repubs hate the Repubs because they are too like the Dims.

I think Americans are sick of partisan politics period. Both parties are traitors to the American people as a whole at this point. Politics has become nothing more than professional lying for profit and corruption and fraud are its handmaidens...

“The Republicans are trying to keep the political battle on a low simmer before the Midterms”

And, I guess, you will say that they are keeping things on a low simmer and doing nothing but expanding obamas’ policies in an attempt to win the 2016 elections. Problem is, it hasn’t much changed for the Rs elites since Reagan.

The poll was taken of 1,026 MSNBC viewers

Oh, wait. This must be a fake. MSNBC doesn’t have 1,026 viewers.

(ok, i made it up)
