Didn’t the NYT say yesterday that there is no such thing as an Assault Weapon?
One of the ever-increasing reasons I do NOT trust the Republican party: they refuse to push for repeal of the GCA and NFA.
Does this think tank have a permit to exist? If not, put them in prison.
It may sound subtle, but the flip side of the gun control movement is the “abolish the death penalty” movement. While they don’t seem linked on the surface, they are.
It was announced today that a majority of US appeals court judges are now Democrat appointees. Of these, a large percentage are of the mind that they will never permit a death penalty, ever. Likewise, they will use any opportunity they can to support state gun control laws when they are made, and perhaps inflicting one state’s gun control laws on another state in their jurisdiction.
And as has been shown in the last few years, a relatively small number of appeals court judges have forced perhaps half the states to have homosexual marriage, even when bans were written in their constitution or were approved by an overwhelming majority in referendums. Bench dictators.
They would use this same leverage to prevent executions, and to create gun control laws from the bench.
In ten years, a Think Tank will say that people will need permits for writing books instead of a outright ban. And the sheeple will rejoice.
“Permits” would just be registration so they no where to come to collect them.
There have been more semi-auto military style rifles sold in the last few years than there were Winchester 30-30 rifles sold in their entire production run of 110 years.
Only Republicans quit and say it is “settled law” when they lose, the left never quits even when the Supreme Court says so
Then the ‘battle’ is already lost; one has already presumed they have a privilege, not a Right.
Many such owners welcome repeal despite the economic cost.
I would hope that is the case.
The usual - and by now, expected - silly, anti-gun crapola.
