Remember Tories were shut out in Scotland in the last election.

You have to wonder why David Cameron spent so much time and effort trying to keep in the UK a region that’s not going to vote for his party.

Thank you. I took around a dozen or so pics of many of the same flowers. I could not really pick the best as they were all about as good as the others.

“you do know that Scotland already rules Scotland right?
This is not a braveheart movie., this is about a bunch of socialists who want more socialism in Scotland”

I don’t care if they are Marxists like half of our citizens and most of our national elected officials. Independence, responsibility and freedom are always best.

The mood just wasn’t there.

We’ve seen it in Quebec. A lot of the “NO” voters are “soft sovereigntists” - they want more concessions from England but not outright independence.

This was entirely predictable.

As watching paint dry.

We’re not witnessing the birth of Europe’s newest country.

To: blueyon; a fool in paradise

Become the next Venezuela with or Zimbabwe without London?

I guess that is the question to ponder

Scotland will get more powers and money from London.

For a shakedown, its paying off quite handsomely.

What a tremendous election turnout for this Scotland election averaging around 88%. Imagine how that would work in American elections.

They are saying that Midlothian is a bellweather for this election. BBC Graphics are not necessarily accurate reflections of the actual results. Below I posted what the election officials announced:

Midlothian

No 56%

Yes 43%

East Lothian

(missed it)

Stirling

No 60%

Yes 40%

Falkirk

No 53%

Yes 47%

Big margins - especially out of bellwethers Midlothian, Stirling and Falkirk.

Its going down by a wide margin.

Cameron doesn’t care about party, he is more leftist than his base anyway. This vote is not about party

The only question is whether England will get its own Parliament.
