John Bolton Super PAC to Spend $5 Million Online in Key Senate Races
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | September 20, 2014 | Michael Patrick Leahy

John Bolton's Super PAC announced on Friday that it will spend $5 million for online ads in three key Senate races starting immediately. "This ad buy includes three ads with 15 customized national security messages intended to sway distinct clusters of swing voters in NH, AR, and NC," the former United Nations Ambassador and current Fox News Contributor told Breitbart News in an emailed statement.

The online buy that launched Friday will include ad placements at Google, Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, and other online channels.

All three Republican Senate candidates supported in this ad buy -- Scott Brown in New Hampshire, Thom Tillis in North Carolina, and Tom Cotton in Arkansas -- are in need of outside help less than two months before the election. Only Cotton leads his Democratic opponent in recent polls, and in his case that lead over incumbent Mark Pryor (D-AR) is somewhat tenuous, up from 2 points to 5 points in the latest poll.

While Brown's campaign appears to be picking up momentum, he still trails incumbent Jean Shaheen (D-NH) anywhere from 2 to 11 points in New Hampshire, according to most of the recent polls, though he's pulled into a tie, according to the latest CNN poll. In North Carolina, Thom Tillis' campaign is moving in the opposite direction, as incumbent Kay Hagan (D-NC) has widened her lead to 5 points by hammering Tillis on two issues important to her far left base -- funding for education and "the Republican war on women."(continued)

When did John Bolton form a superpack? Has it been in operation since 2008 when he was considering a presidential run and he never had to give the money back? I never considered him in the ‘Kingmaker’ catagory, but I suppose he is now.

About time that the Republicans attempt to buy their constituents like the Democrats do. After all, it does seem like a money game more that about politics or beliefs.

Yeah, call me crass and giving up on politicians...as most normal folks do.

Why don’t you find the source and post it?

Why in the world would you post this except to denigrate Mr. Bolton? You are wrong, undoubtedly, but I still suspect that you posted this just to attempt damage to his conservative ideals. You are not a good person.

Correction, I found that Bolton says he has the same position on abortion as Ronald Reagan did. It was Admiral Stockdale who was pro-abortion, like Ross Perot, whom the admiral claimed never in his life to have had a political conversation with.

I’m not so sure that foreign policy is a primary issue in most voters’ minds (although it should be), but the vulnerable incumbents need to be hammered from every angle. It would be especially pathetic if the GOP did not pick up AR and NC.

It’s one thing to tell a pollster that you’ll vote for Kay Hagan. It’s entirely another thing to get off your couch JUST to vote for Kay Hagan. 100% of her support in 2008 was along for a ride on the Obama hopey-changey train. I would venture to say 90% of the Democrats here couldn’t pick her out of a line-up, since every one of her TV ads are attacks on Tillis.

Yes, but we have no idea what the “October Surprise” to suddenly surface will be. It all comes down to who goes out to vote, who makes the effort. And who cares... those who vote because he/she should, those who are suddenly feeling their vote counts, and those who don’t because they are either “over it” I guess I would say. Either angry with their choices or don’t give a darn. In the end, I will always make the effort, and even if I don’t love my choices, I’ll stay in the numbers. It’s important to me, regardless, no matter what. I want to be a likely voter, and I like being a voter, period.

What's wrong with a solid, conservative, sane person getting involved to try to sway things in the right direction? If this makes him a "Kingmaker", we need more like him on our side.

The pubbies need to start hammering all the rats with Obama, 24/7. Every rat senator voted for Obamacare and the voters need to be reminded of that daily.

I’m glad Bolton is providing support to other conservatives. I had no idea he was so wealthy, or connected to such wealth. Some folks are not ostentatious about their material possessions. Bolton strikes me as someone who would ride economy class with the common folk, whether he could afford better or not. I’d love to chat with him about his experiences, as I drink from my airplane bottles of vodka and orange juice.
