With the kids’ books selling well, I do not think it the radio show that they are after, it is the very personage of Rush, himself.

THE JOKE IS ON THEM.
They can get EVERY national Rush advertiser to pull their ads, and in fact they have pretty much done just that (i.e., listen to who now advertises...bottom-feeders and new, otherwise unknown, companies...which pay much less for air time). But it DOESN’T MATTER. Rush’s empire is a LOT MORE than just a radio show. In fact, I’m sure he makes more than enough money through his other ventures (books, website, trinkets, etc.), and his costs are NEXT TO NOTHING, relatively speaking. They could cause him to replace all his national ads with PSAs and his finances wouldn’t skip a beat. He’ll retire when he so chooses.
So the left cannot drive him out at the national level - all they can hope to do is drive out his local advertisers, and given his 600 radio stations, that is WAY TOO MUCH for them to handle...so they’re beat. It also is MUCH HARDER to intimidate local advertisers and local radio stations, since they’ll hear it locally...not going to happen.
So let them try, yet again - I prefer them going after Rush than going after weaker people on our side.
