Michigan's closely watched U.S. Senate contest is back to a two-point race.

Michigan now shifts from Leans Democrat back to a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports 2014 Senate Balance of Power Rankings.

Terri Lynn Land has gotten non-stop bad press and liberal Super-Pacs have spent millions trashing her. Yet the race is nearly even, and not just in this one poll. It’s looking very hopeful. I hope that Michigan conservatives take notice.

Peter’s is not an incumbent. he is a Dem that hopes to inherit that socialist apparatchik Levin’s seat, since Lenin, I mean Levin is finally retiring. The sad news is Terry Lynn Land is a nice lady, but she is not lighting any political fires or passion. I will pull the lever for her, but I am not hopeful....

Since Scott Rasmussen stopped doing the polls, the dems have gotten at least a two to three point bounce in every poll. Why else would Baraq's approval numbers always be higher than any other polling outfit.

My guess is Land is leading.

I think she’s done well at smacking Peters around on immigration. Certainly better than the GOP’s preferred candidate Dave camp would have done.

I’m not at all encouraged as it seems Ras is about the only pollster that has this close. And Ras has been horrid (too R+) for many cycles now. This is probably Land down by 5-7 in reality.

Exactly. I stopped following Rasmussen. Something happened after last election. He has Obama at 48% today. While all others have him in low 40s down to 35 in Reuters.

Same here. Should counter with Soros "I'm having a very good crisis"...said during the height of "the greatest recession since the great depression".

Land & Snyder ads are weak...at least the ones I've seen.

Michigan is one of those states that flirt with waking up. I think Peters has a problem if the race remains this close. Obama’s approval is not good so if Land continues to put up a fight she may just win it.
