Speaking to DallasNews.com, Merritt Tierce, a former waitress at a high-end steakhouse in Dallas, Texas, recalled using Rush Limbaugh's very generous tips to fund abortions.
Merritt said twice Limbaugh dined at the restaurant and left her a $2,000 tip each time on "modest-sized" checks. She describes one of the tips paid in twenty $100 bills.
"That was blood money to me," Tierce said, and so she donated "a sizable chunk of it" to the Texas Equal Access abortion fund, of which she was executive director. She explained:
It felt like laundering the money in a good way. Hes such an obvious target for any feminist or sane person. It was really bizarre to me that he gave me $2,000, and hes evil incarnate in some ways.
Tierce has released her first novel, entitled Love Me Back, which is all about her experiences at the Dallas steakhouse. The Limbaugh story is not included.
Continuing her abortion activism, Tierce recently penned an Op-Ed for The New York Times in which she describes having two abortions. The goal is clear in her piece: to combat the great "lie that abortion isnt normal." She writes:
I had an abortion because we were poor and I was depressed and I didnt know who the father was. I had been having an affair. My kids were 2 and 3, and the debilitating morning sickness, which I experienced early in each of my pregnancies, made it difficult to work or care for two toddlers. I got pregnant again soon after, but miscarried. A few years later I had another abortion because the man I was seeing was emotionally abusive. I had no control in that relationship, so I sabotaged my birth control to get some back. The whole situation was a complete abscess. In spite of my awareness of our miserable present and inevitably doomed future, I didnt really want to have an abortion. I wanted the man to love me or at least be forced to publicly acknowledge our relationship existed. But he didnt want to have a baby with me, and I knew that having that baby would have been a terrible thing for my children. And for me.
This is how it really is, abortion: You do things you regret or dont understand and then you make other choices because life keeps going forward. Or you do something out of love and then, through biology or accident, it goes inexplicably wrong, and you do what you can to cope. Or you do whatever you do, however you do it, for whatever reason, because thats your experience.
Did she spit in his Food the way Jesse Jackson said he did when serving Whitey when he worked at a Restaurant?
Yes, Ruth Chris was horrible.
Steak was not good. Can’t believe just how bad the place was.
As far as this :
I can tell you a friend blew $18,000 on a bottle of something or other wine that was vintage 1772 I believe.
Only thing that made that fun was drinking something that old and for its exclusivity.
Don’t be so sure.

Is she Sandra Flukes campaign manager?
************************
She’s in Texas so a better guess would be Wendy “abortion Barbie” Davis’ campaign manager....
So she baby-raped him to force him to focus more attention on her?
rape isn't about sex, it's about power #AFEMINISTTAUGHTMETHAT
she was a waitress AND the executive director of an abortion charity/lobbying group?
That doesn't make sense.
Maybe it was a tax dodge so that she didn't have to pay taxes on $2000 worth of additional income. Throw it in a meals "slush fund"...
“That doesn’t make sense.”
It makes perfect sense when you know the left is mentally ill. This is exactly what a mentally ill person does.
Stalinists Lie. ALWAYS
Perhaps her “abortion group” is like George Costanza’ Human Fund. A party of one.
Lies by omission are still lies.
“Dead Eyes.”
Dead heart.
I wonder if her “abortion group” was to fund her abortion?
The guy we bought it from is highly reputable.
My friend buys certain lots that are highly desirable.
This bottle came off some ship wreck and was discounted, as a thank you for his business.
He sells to collectors and restaurants, wines that are hard to come by as well specializing in verticals that are also not easy to acquire.
His word is highly trusted and he even got me an awesome deal on some Diamond Creek magnums I wanted.
Good article though.
Yeah.
It was a fascinating story.
Oh, I got lots of these stories.
I sometimes don’t feel comfortable telling em here but, they are a part of my life and many are just so darn funny.
One day, I’ll tell my pretty woman story.
One of the most hilarious nights ever and there is one other Freeper who has similar stories.
I think her parents were part of some diplomatic entourage or her dad was a diplomat.
Her stories are just as funny but, they don’t relate well here.
And another Freeper works in the entertainment industry and has similar stories.
He can be generous to callers as well (he has been known to reward them with laptops in the past).
That sounds "like a lot" but figure it out, the theme plays at the top of the hour, each hour, 3 times a show. I don't recall if the theme is also played at the bottom of the hour.
The show airs 5 time a week (sometimes even more with repeats on the weekend or time-shifted rebroadcast).
The show airs 52 weeks a year.
That is $671 per time the theme is used.
Paul Anka got rich just off the Tonight Show Theme ("Ba-dant-da-da-daaaaa") alone.
Yep, woman gets more pub for her book if she throws Rush’s name around. How pat her statements are - again prepared to pub her book etc.
Hope you’re feeling better today.
LOL
Stupid cap came off again.
Could be worse.
I’m a single 50 year old man.
What if I were pregnant and walking around Iraq?
They wouldn’t understand.
Always look on the bright side of life ....
