It’s going to take a lot of media pressure before Valerie Jarrett decides that she’s bad ‘optics’ for the White House. Hopefully these hearings get that attention.
At the very least, this whole hearing is publicly peeling back one more layer of the onion of incompetent management for which history will remember this administration.
So Jumper Omar succeeded in drawing door guard away from his post.
Did another SS officer step into that position, or was the door now unattended, allowing full WH access for the next members of the (hypothetical) ISIS breech team?
I really hope he wins a seat in Congress. One of the most clear, concise and principled people I’ve heard in a long time. Supporting him from Pa.; sure wish there was someone like him running here...

So his question needs to be... “does it concern you enough to fire those supervisors?”

The thing is - shouldn’t the Dems be outraged? This is their “guy” in the white house.
Some may recall the lady in the car who had a child in the car with her and she was shot and killed - not even inside the fence.

I think this is BS. I think it’s intentional.
I think they want the property all around the White House and this is their slick little operation to make that happen.
In ‘fast & furious’ they sold guns to drug cartels so they could trace the guns back to US gun shops and change the 2nd amendment.
If they’d run that operation, then this has all the earmarks on an operation.

But you have such a nice big space there... formerly occupied by men of honor ...and the intruder was just looking for a better life. Come on, accept him into your space and feed him and give him healthcare just like you have forced the rest of America to do when someone invades this nation.
Why was he arrested? All he did was hop a fence into a space he wasn’t allowed. You mean that is *gasp* illegal?

Julia Pierson seems to be a ‘everything can be solved in a meeting’ type director. She needs to be replaced post haste.

A bullet smashed a window on the second floor, just steps from the first family’s formal living room. Another lodged in a window frame, and more pinged off the roof, sending bits of wood and concrete to the ground. At least seven bullets struck the upstairs residence of the White House, flying some 700 yards across the South Lawn…
By the end of that Friday night, the agency had confirmed a shooting had occurred but wrongly insisted the gunfire was never aimed at the White House. Instead, Secret Service supervisors theorized, gang members in separate cars got in a gunfight near the White House’s front lawn — an unlikely scenario in a relatively quiet, touristy part of the nation’s capital.
It took the Secret Service four days to realize that shots had hit the White House residence, a discovery that came about only because a housekeeper noticed broken glass and a chunk of cement on the floor…
Officers who were on the scene who thought gunfire had probably hit the house that night were largely ignored, and some were afraid to dispute their bosses’ conclusions. Nobody conducted more than a cursory inspection of the White House for evidence or damage. Key witnesses were not interviewed until after bullets were found.

Chaffetz basically said it is not clear cut. She stated that the investigation would look into it. Now questioning her on why the SS press release initially stated that there was no weapon when there was a knife. She admitted it was inaccurate.
I think it’s obvious what a major part of the problem is - the Director of the SS. She is BOMBING horribly .... horribly. If I were Obama and saw this, with my life and the life of my family depending on her supervision of the people protecting me, I’d ask for an immediate resignation. To make matters worse, I think she reports to Jeh Johnson (head of DHS) .... another unqualified, unenthusiastic Dem donor appointee.
