Typically, I only donate to candidates, just to be safeBUMP! Me too. Straight to the candidate. No middlemen taking a piece of my pie.
I get Jenny Beth's desperate pleas for $$ on a gmail throwaway account. Most of her cries are hilarious.
It pisses me off to no end that she never offers any accounting of how all that money that was raised was spent.

That is exactly what I have done also.
Of course there in guarantee the candidate will use our money wisely. But at least it gets rid of the middle man.
