Caddell: Republicans Are ‘Stupid Party’ for Not Running Against Amnesty
Breitbart TV ^ | 10 Oct 2014 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 10/11/2014 5:30:50 PM PDT by george76

Former Democratic pollster Pat Caddell blasted the Republican Party for not making the president’s planned executive amnesty a national issue

...

The Republican Party, they’re not called the stupid party for nothing. These people are able to, are willing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory given the opportunity,” he stated.

“It's amazing to me. I've never seen a party that doesn't grab opportunities thrown at it like this,” he declared. And “they [Republicans] should be taking this issue and making it a national referendum issue against every Democrat, and for every Republican in the country.”

He speculated that Republicans have not made executive amnesty an issue because “they have a lot of donors, and a lot of their lobbyists telling them they want this. The Chamber of Commerce wants open borders, the Wall Street Journal wants open borders.”

GOP does not want the responsibility of leadership. They are bigger cowards than President Obola.

That’s why I don’t care if the pubs take over the Senate or not - if they do they’ll just meander down the road to hell a little slower than the rats.

Re: “Republicans should be taking this issue and making it a national referendum issue”

How?

Our Congressional leadership and most of our 2016 presidential candidates SUPPORT Amnesty!

I would not believe one word they had to say on the subject.

I believe that the progressive/socialist have infiltrated the republican party.

What better way to bring down the conservative agenda than to get on the inside.

I agree with running against illegals, but what about running on calling the Islamic State, an Islamic group? The American people hate political correctness for the group beheading Christians in the name of Islam.

Republican politicians are doing exactly what all politicians do...they follow the voters!

Anyhow, since the GOP is no good, what other WINNING alternatives do you suggest?

Don’t give me 3rd party as solution. They have never won any national elections.

The GOP leadership is filled with Democratic infiltrators like Boehner and McConnell.

Boehner was the one who put into play what would become the GOP-E Coup taking over the party. What most people don't know is it happened back in 1996. He was the one who began the process to end The Contract With America and oust Newt as Speaker. He had help too.

Politically, for Conservatives, legal immigration is far more destructive than illegal immigration.

In 2013, we created 750,000 new immigrant citizens.

80% of them will vote for the Democrat Party.

And yet, right here at Free Republic, at least half of the comments support that politically insane level of legal immigration.

It’s as stupid as nominating Mutt Romney, the grandfather of Obamacare, for President.

GOP-E wants amnesty too, so why should they run against it?

Republicans are the stupid party for not securing the border when they had control of the House the Senate and the White House.

Shows you how much you know about Caddell.

You may be right; in fact George76 thinks so, too. I did check around online and his record is a little sketchy between 1988 and his re-incarnation on FOX. But I did find a New Yorker article entitled "Malaise II: Revenge of the Dinos". Mainly about a previous article authored by Cadell and Doug Schoen, his former partner and definitely a Clintonista. The article was authored in December 2013 by Hendrik Hertzberg who served with Cadell in the Carter administration. In fact a co-author with Cadell of the ominous 'malaise' speech. That's enough 'smoke' for me to anticipate 'fire'. Besides, Hertzbeg dubs Cadell and Schoen as Dinos. I'm just not much a fan of gender re-assignment in either political direction. That really is my only point.

Pat Caddell : “ we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.”

Caddell noted that while First Amendment protections were originally provided to the press so they would protect the liberty and freedom of the public from “organized governmental power,” they had clearly relinquished the role of impartial news providers.

Nowhere was this more evident than during the tragic death of a U.S. ambassador in Libya that was covered up by the press .

I heard the traitors at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are funding 33 republican Senate races this fall.

If this is true, it would explain why we don’t hear jack squat about amnesty from sitting republicans running for re-election or GOP challengers for the current democrat held seats.

One of the largest contributors to the GOP is the agribusiness PACs. That is why the GOP in all onboard for open borders.

This issue is why I am supporting Dennis Michael Lynch. I suggest you check him out.

Even after all of Obama lies and offenses, Pat Caddell continues to call himself a Democrat. Until he changes that desgnation to GOP, Independant or Libertarian, I will always wonder what percent of his message is that of a Concern Troll.

We all need to repeatedly show up at local events to confront the politicians - telling them not ignore us [ their base ]. They need our votes and more now, so they have to pretend to listen.
